If there's a dry track;

Race 5 - #7 over #5 over #1, #6 in a couple of $10 trifectas, and then a $30 win bet on the #7 if I can get above fair odds

Race 6 - #4 over #8 over #5, #7 in a couple of $10 trifectas

What do you think @t6p? Neither trifecta is going to pay great if it hits, but it could be more than okay if one of the longshots come in 3rd.

Hell yea Shark. I’m in, let’s do this.

I GUESS you can take a break. You have to be back at least by the Saratoga opening, or we will be rudderless.

Haha. I'll be back way before then, BP. Just going to spend a few days up in the Rockies next weekend. Either that or I'm picking up a hooker, and then buying an 8-ball and a 40 ouncer. For the lady of course. I'll be back at it within a couple of weeks at the most.

I'm just going to play for the trifecta in those races, T. No win bets for me.

Race 5 - #7 over #5 over #1, #6

Race 6 - #4 over #8 over #5, #7

I put them in already for $10 each as I'll be out of the house when the races are on, and won't be able to monitor the odds on that #7 horse in the 5th.

Best of luck if you're playing along.

Put a Pick 3 bet in already before I head out from races 5 through 7 as well, as it looks like there may be two very likely winners in the sequence according to the numbers I have;

==========

Race 7 at Emerald Downs;

1- 418.0
2- 480.4 Crushin Candy
3- 424.4
4- 422.7
6- 408.5
7- 415.9

==========

Pick 3 (races 5-7) - Two combinations for $10 each consisting of #5, #7 with #4 with #2

They're all short prices, but keeping it as thin as I did maybe the return won't be too bad.

Same plays for me bud. I locked them in earlier just in case. Thanks for sharing and GL!

Nothing hey? Well that stinks. Must mean it's a good time for a break.

Just crushed the exacta and trifecta in this race. Waiting for the payouts now.

Couple of other horses I'm going to key today in exactas and trifectas;

Race 7 at Parx - #6 over #1, #5 over #1, #5 in exactas and trifectas

Race 8 at Monmouth - #8 over #1, #2, #6 in exactas and #8 over #1, #2 over #1, #2, #6 in trifectas

Mental note. When @Sharkey says he's "taking a break" what he really means is he's going to be running numbers, putting in a bunch of plays and nailing them like it's child's play.

Just messing bud. Nice work, congrats on that hit. I'll be tailing your other plays, thanks for posting.

Sorry about that, T. Last night I was thinking I wasn't going to be making plays today, but I woke early so I figured I'd see what was available. Found a few horses that I could try to key. It takes 3 business days apparently for a withdrawl to go through and it being Sunday and all. This is my last day for a while. I promise.

Another option for you (and I) to key later on this evening if you want @t6p;

Race 9 at Emerald Downs;

3- 429.5
4- 419.6
5- 409.8

8- 499.9 *Oh Marvelous Me (E/P 6)* 62.3% = 3/5 fair odds

@t6p

A win bet on the #6 horse in this 7th race at Parx may be an option as well, bud. Somebody put down a bunch on the #4 when betting opened, which leaves the #6 currently at 8/1. He's going to come down a lot from that as there is still over 10 mins to post, but could still be the right odds for a win play when loading into the gates.

I thought we were gonna get that one Shark. The #6 really faded down the stretch. Ah well.

He was acting up in the gates and used up too much energy before the race even started. I ended up passing on the win bet with him, though, as he was 2/1 heading to the gates and I thought he'd leave the gates shorter just because he was a heavy favourite in multis.

@t6p

I'm just playing the #8 over #1, #6 exacta in this Monmouth race, in addition to the #8 over #1, #2 over #1, #2, #6 trifectas.

Don't really want that 3/1 payout that the #8 over #2 exacta is looking to pay.

Bet $40 that race and got $102 back. Better than nothing I guess.

Not bad at all bud! Put me up a little for the day so far.

What are you thinking for the Emerald Downs race? Maybe the #8 over the #6, #2?
