Probably because all the noobs were making shit posts and comments. Most of the people with high belts only had their accounts for a couple years. I've had mine for a while and use the forum a decent amount and don't get close to black belt.

It's still there in text though. They still need to remove that.

It sucks that if you got dubs it shows up a giant stripe (or if you are a mod or platinum), but the belt got the boot on this version
