Floor presses felt extra strong today, plus I'll be on vacation all of next week, so figured fuck it let's try for some PR's.

201 for 4 paused beats my best touch n go from last cycle by a rep. Took a half hour break after then decided to try for a new paused PR. 226 was very grindy but managed to get it for a 5lb paused PR and to match my tng PR. 184 for 8 is also a tng rep PR.

450 just wasn't in the cards for today. Was debating whether to try for a max Deadlift using conventional or sumo stance and so alternated during my early warmups.

Ended up deciding on sumo but wasn't enough to get 450, which felt nailed to the floor. Afterwards got a few more heavy reps in then went for 315 for 10. Got it but dear lord was it tough.

Went to an orthopedic doctor today about my shoulder, have had varying amounts of pain for around 2 months that forced me to cut out most overhead stuff, and he was fairly confident that I have a SLAP tear. Getting an MRI done within the next couple weeks. Not happy.

Pretty good day. Broke into the triple digits with weighted chin-ups in the morning.

Then in the afternoon hit a pretty solid 5lb hang power clean pr with 230. Managed to get 235 but it was ridiculously ugly, bar slide off my shoulder, so I'm not gonna count it as a pr.

Another very good day. Cleans felt great, 215 was cake and even 235 felt really good. Debated trying 245 and instead went with 240, which was a smart choice as it almost crushed me and/or slipped off my shoulders. A little too ugly for me to feel good counting it.

Just a quick day yesterday morning. Squats felt good for just waking up though bench was trash.

Had an MRI done on my shoulder later than day and today it feels stiff as fuck, so I'll most likely be taking the weekend off. Have a doctors appointment Tuesday to have the MRI read.
