Why is PC gaming the "master race" when their best games are console ports?

Steven Crowder got wrecked by a little kid in a debate on socialism. Says a lot about you that you look up to this guy.

Why are you even posting this? I haven't said a thing to you.
its a meme

Who fucking cares.

Anyone that goes on about master race or whatever is a loser.

If owning a 2 thousand dollar pc or a $500 console is your legacy. Get some sunshine.

None of them are real time strategy, save TW series. Even then they have turn based aspects and aren't considered the sort of RTS that was popularized on the PC.

Saying "no" doesn't erase their critical praise and popularity.

Nice to know you think DOTA and LoL are "niche".

DOTA and LoL are shit games dude. Perfect examples of how popularity has absolutely no bearing on objective quality. I bet you think Fortnite and Minecraft are gaming masterpieces.

Everybody on Twitch streams through a PC, even if they're playing on a console. Also, you're watching the best so you can learn from them besides the entertainment aspect. There's also other interesting content on Twitch like travel channels, cooking channels, music channels, etc.

People stream on twitch direct from Xbox all the time with no pc

Mmmnnnn Boxxy!!!

Okay, let me clarify that. I know that some people stream directly from their console. Hell, I've done it myself. But it's mainly people who are new to streaming and aren't regular streamers. Like I don't know anyone who is partnered or even an affiliate who streams directly from their console.

They have bulbs for that. I mounted them next to my screen. Ordered off amazon so I never left the couch.

You cant use the word objective when referring to your own completely subjective opinion.

At any rate, this has nothing to do with what I originally responded to, which was your completely inane and easily refuted comments about the only quality PC exclusives being RTS games, and I didnt even mention MMOs.

I had a pc custom built for the release of battlefield 3, only upgraded graphics card once since then. Ultra settings for everything!!

Outside of Nintendo games, just about every popular console game started on PC or was a copy of something that was already out on PC.

Call of Duty - started on PC
GTA - Started on PC
Uncharted - evolution of PC games like Tomb Raider
Assassins Creed - evolution of PC games like Thief
Halo - PC game that Microsoft bought before release and ported to xbox
Skyrim/Fallout - series that started on PC

I could go on and on.

Basically most genre's are started on PC and then when they're successful they move to console. There is very little innovation on Console.

I agree with most of that, the original gta on PC was nothing like the first console version to come out, the console version ripped it to threads but alas was a copy if you will of the console first Driver, which oddly enough never gets any mention anymore after gta basically copied it and increased the M level of it if you will.

If microsoft bought the rights to Halo before it was completed and sold for PC then Instill think it stands as a console first.

Many games have gone the opposite route, being aimed at a console release and having issues with funding and going pc release instead.

I was with you until the evolution of bullshit. Get real.
And FYI, GTA on PC was not developed by Rockstar, they were developed by David Jones' studio DMA Design. They did kinda merge a bit into Rockstar North but I don't think it's fair to compare the games.

And yet you never answered the question. PC gaming is a joke, people spend thousands of dollars on high end computers to play fortnite and league of legends.
To be fair why does it matter if it's joke or not? Nobody with any sort of life cares.

Its a lot cheaper to just buy console and games and forget about upgrading parts, being worried about worn fans and crap. Although I still got my 6 year old PC with quad I7, 16gb ram and all I have replaced thus far was GPU from 2gb to 8GB GTX 1080 and PSU that blow up last year. Fans and liquid cooling doing good although probably will have to replace fans someday as mobo is getting hot.

The console games, the exclusives is something what I miss as a PC gamer. And I dont like playing on pad. I was PC player since I remember and it stayed this way. Whenever I went into friends and tried to play on a pad it was a no no.

liquid coolers are only good for about 5 years. Even though they're sealed, the liquid does evaporate over time. Keep an eye on your temps and listen for a gurgle on start up

Those ports can be badly optimized for PC, but if not they look so much better. Customization and better hardware make a difference. Audio, too.

This is pretty much all it is for me.

I started my gaming as a child on the NES in '90 but my babysitter's son had an IBM with Wolfenstein and Majong around 92/93 and in 94 my Pops the penny pincher for some reason beyond me, had one of my classmates dad build us a custom PC with Win 95. So I was basically a console and PC gamer from the start.

That said, I am a console gamer. I never got used to the keyboard and I used gamepads on PC as early as 95 with the MS Sidewinder. Lol

But nothing beats the freedom of hardware and emulation. Nothing. PC is a no brainer even though I don't own any of the top PC exclusive games and never will.

Am I still a slave to console exclusives? You bet your ass I am, and it sucks. The only silver lining is that I only need a Sony console since Xbox releases almost everything on PC and Nintendo is, well, I don't reallt know what the fuck they are doing, they just aren't releasing exclusives that I care about.

Wolfenstein was the shit back then. My dad had a buddy who's son needed a better PC, haggled that Amiga 500 (at the time a solid treasure that could rival the Godly Commodore 64) off of him, which came with 200 games. Heaven. Golden Axe was probably the best of those.

But I think because of those 200 games I became a console gamer as well, as they took all the time, didn't need to start building. Got a PS1 later and all the PS's since then, an Xbox for the exclusives as well.

But last year decided to get myself a laptop that could also run all games, and honestly the difference is so noticeable with visuals, sound and a very high frame rate that I still haven't touched my copy of God of War 4, or any other console game. Still need to use a controller for PC, though (too used to them, and my bad back lets me know it's the right choice).

Yup I had that controller as well to play Tomb Raider. I did use the keyboard and mouse to play Quake World though. To this day I use a controller for PC, now a DS4, unless it's a FPS which I rarely play. Oh, and an arcade stick for fighting games and shmups.

I HATE minecraft, but I'm not to obtuse to realize that it's a masterpiece... it's the most socially significant game to be released in my lifetime.
