Recent fights/results/news from Thailand

heard rumor kulabdam going to boxing career soon, interesting <Eek2.0>

Sangmanee said on facebook that to turned down 450k baht from top king and instead took 250k baht to fight yodlekpet for his last fight

today's show from rajadamnern

I hope Kulabdam can pull off the upset against Muangthai tonight

thought round 4 won it pretty clearly for Saengmanee. can't score anymore it seems like.

First round : I give perfect equality, the two boxers look at each other, they sent just a few teep and some punch without any real danger.

Second round : YODLEKPET takes the center of the ring and blocks the great majority of the shots of SANGMANEE, and sends him some powerful low kick that they are not blocked, and a very nice elbow at the end of the round.

Third round : I give the advantage to SANGMANEE, he moving back during the round but has a very good combination, legs and knees, but I remain on an impression where many do not touch YODLEKPET. But at the end of the round YODLEKPET hits very hard SANGMANEE

Fourth round : advantage SANGMANEE, he stay in the same direction as the fourth round, even if a lot of legs and punch are blocked, and it puts especially two very beautiful high kick that make vacillate YODLEKPET

Fifth round : SANGMANEE advance a lot but I find that none of these shots was effective, most are blocked by YODLEKPET, aui gives him very powerful.

Result maybe draw but YODLEKPET are the champ, SANGMANEE have to do more for beat him.

Im not a specialist I just give my opinion with my little experience of watching stadium fight. The judges at Rajadamnern are expert and know their job more than me lol

The guys at Yoksutai podcast (they're very knowledgeable) said it wasn't even close. They said the gamblers weren't even taking bets after the fourth round anymore and that Sangmanee's strikes weren't making any effect. After Yodlekpet's low kick that sent him flying to the ground he barely had a chance. Basically, it was competitive for a while but never particularly close.

I wanted to watch it again but couldn't find the video on YT.

good foward pressure by Muangthai, eats some heavy shots by Kulabdam.

Funny how he just gets up like nothing happened. Most fighters would have been out cold

OHHHHHH, finally. Kulabdam got his win. Knew it was just a matter of time.

Now they should do Kulabdam vs Yodlekphet!

Superbon looked good

Does anyone think thais become better muaythai fighters (against foreigners) after competing in high level kickboxing for a period of time? Of course it wont make much difference against other thais in the stadiums or whatever but when a thai is used to fighting foreigners under a ruleset like kickboxing which takes a way certain weapons they get better with the weapons they're left with whilst still maintaining the knowledge and muscle memory of all those years of muaythai.

His opponent wasn't really high level and no i don't think being a kickboxer makes you a better muay thai fighter.

Edit: i didn't see that you said against foreignes. Sure, having more experience against foreigners will make you better against them.
