Makes sense , also the interviewer is a big time Canelo nut hugger

If you just listen to the interview without looking at the video you’ll swear its Cheech Marin

there wasn't a single thing said there about why they won't face each other.

and the idea that casual fans will tune in because these guys refuse to even enter the same room is silly. casual fans won't even hear about that.

shows like 24/7, face off (or whatever it's called), all access... that's the kind of promotional stuff that gets people fired up even if they don't know much about the game. negotiations and shit talk in interviews is what people like us catch, not some random dude on the street.

Robert Garcia doesn't say shit about Canelita because he's smart enough to realize that when Clenelo decides to ditch Reynoso n clan, he's on the short list for new coach.

Interesting. That never occurred to me but it makes sense.

The 'no face off' seems weird being both conduct themselves well at media events.

Canelo seems to have a ridiculous ego; that likely explains this. Either way it doesn't really matter in terms of the fight or money made at the end of the day. A non-issue, as they say.

Any successful person will have a "ridiculous ego" compared to the average joe

The choice not to face off, as long as they promote it correctly is fine

It will be an issue if no face off turns into organic promotion with no push

Or maybe he is a fan
