Betting Questions

Anyone knows how to watch the fight stats during the fights live? I often hear the commentators that they got the stats. Like strikes landed, takedowns etc. Any way to see this while live betting?

If I'm not mistaken the UFC app gives stats like that round by round.

5dimes.eu is the best one in the states...

New to betting. Is 5dimes still a solid site?

There's a huge T.O.S. to sign up. Skimming it I see the following;

'Customers from North America are required to complete at least a ONE time rollover of the deposited amount in order to have a payout processed without incurring on a penalty fee. If this requirement is not fulfilled, the account will not qualify for a free redemption, credit card deposits, if any, will be refunded, and an administrative fee will be charged without exceptions.'

I have no idea what any of this means. Nor do I see a link there to find the answer. Sounds like the fee is $40?

Means if you deposit $500 for example you cannot just make one or two bets or whatever that are less than that amount, win a couple hundred or whatever, then ask for a payout. You have to bet at least the whole $500 in some way or fashion through multiple bets over some period of time. Really it's not much of a limitation. If you don't intend to bet far more than you initially deposit before asking for a payout you probably can't afford to bet anyway and shouldn't bother.

What if I just want to put $100 on DC, and if he wins take the winnings and be done with it?

Then you are probably better off betting in Bitcoin at one of the Bitcoin specific sportsbooks like NitrogenSports where it's easy in and easy out and you can make a one time or occasional bet and get a payout almost immediately without bothering with identity documents or rollover requirements. You'll have to deal with rollover requirements as well as ID & proof of address at the major sportsbooks like 5Dimes.

Shit. I'm a pretty big tech nerd but have largely avoided getting into Bitcoin for whatever reason. I guess it might be time to put on the big boy pants.

And within one minute of digging I have another question. Do I go with Bitcoin Core or Bitcoin Cash?

Anyone use coinbase to send bitcoin to 5dimes?

Anything I should be made aware of?

New to this -- thanks in advance.

I did
You will lose a small % due to transaction fees

If I make a big deposit with 50% bonus and 15 times roll-over requirements, can the book just limit me to bits in middle of that run so that it would take me forever to meet roll-over quota?

How much?

My question is also about deposits. I've also recently signed up to 5Dimes, and was wondering what the best way to transfer money is. Just through a credit card, or should I put it into Bitcoin, then immediately transfer the Bitcoin as a deposit on the site?

btc core. bcash is a steaming pile of shite trying to con ppl into buying it instead of the real bitcoin.

yes they can, but i'd say it's pretty rare. depends on the lines you are taking. US books less likely to limit you than euro ones too. im assuming it's a US book with rollover that high. very rare to have euro ones with that level of rollover.

iirc they dont have btc fees. the fee will be from where you bought the btc to be sent to the new address. check with 5dimes support to be sure. in that case fees vary from place to place. localbitcoins i believe is cheaper than coinbase but i haven't bought crypto with fiat for years. localbitcoins fee is just dependent on the current hashrate and backlog of transactions. it should be something like $0.50 right now. but i think maybe there's a 1% fee for buying them there in the first place (could be wrong) still cheaper than coinbase though i think.

Thanks, man. Is there any problem with just using a credit card instead in terms of legality/questions?

Good to know that about US books. I was thinking that it would be a very fun challenge to try to burn those rollovers as fast as possible like one rollover per event on average. With +50% capital one could take a ton of risks at first to increase funds and then start betting more conservative spreading the risk more.

dont think so. may depend on your country but certainly less than coinbase as they aren't on governments radars as much as a behemoth like coinbase.

yup. gives you some slack to play with. be careful of the rollover tho. ppl can get money stuck in there. needing to rollover large amounts.

I was thinking to deposit money from outside of my bankroll. Kind of a side project.

Not sure if it's a dumb question, but why do some of you bet like this?

Fighter X - $100 (+300)
Fighter X - $100 (+250)
Fighter X - $100 (+225)
Fighter Y - $100 (-150)
Fighter Y - $100 (-180)
Fighter Y - $100 (-250)

If you feel confident in a fighter (or their value), why not throw the full $300 to start? I understand putting a smaller amount if you think the odds are going to improve in your favor, but I see what I'm showing happen a lot. Why wait if a line is more likely to go the other way?
