Benjamin Adegbuyi calls out Badr Hari and champion Rico Verhoeven:

Glory act like they want to make Adegbuyi vs. Hari.

Hari has the talent but not the right mindset,

If he can keep his composure this will be an easy fight for him.

If hari shows up the same shape as he did against Gerges im sure Benny would win that fight.

Anything can happen with Badr to be honest, he's so unpredictable not only in behaviour but also in how much he trains for a fight and how good (or bad) he fights in the ring. This fight can easily go either way depending on how seriously Badr takes the fight and the mindset he turns up in.

i dont this Adegbuyi will have this prizefight

They have to do Rico-Badr 2 next year or maybe even this december(why not), before Badr do some of his "magics" and extend his criminal record.

On a good day Badr is still baddest man on the planet status.

Modern Badr would lose to Benny, Londt, Wilnis and possibly Brestovak.

Badr Hari in his prime would kill anyone that comes in front of him.

Remy Bonjasky got lucky.

the 1st fight, Badr Hari should've won. and if Badr Hari hadn't been disqualified in the 2nd match, he would've won that too.

it should actually be 2-0 to Badr Hari.

and not to mention, if they had a 3rd fight in 2009, Badr Hari would guaranteed knocked him out.

Badr Hari is probably the greatest fighter in history. he is a badass.

you just can't fuck with this Moroccan bad boy

he is alpha & aesthetic as fuk (no homo)
Badr shouldn’t have joined Mikes gym. He was at his best back in 2007 when he was basically a light heavyweight and didn’t solely rely on steroids and trying to finish every fight in the first round. If he were coming up today in a gym that beter suited him he’d probably be a very dominant Glory LHW champion (assuming he could resist the whole violent thug thing). Instead we got a synthetically bulked up 205er who ignores his exceptional technical skills to wildly swing to the fences with his glass chin sticking out.

Badr Hari joined Mike's Gym in 2005. Mike Passenier is one of the reasons Badr Hari was such an insane fighter. he is one of the greatest coaches known to man. look at all those accomplished fighters out of Mike's Gym: Melvin Manhoef, Murthel Groenhart, "Bad News" Baya, Bjorn Bregy etc.

most people out of Mike's Gym are badass.

Mike Passenier and Badr Hari are very good friends. he couldn't ask for a better trainer. they have been through thick and thin.

It’s not a secret everyone knows when he joined up with Mike. Badr’s shift to a brawler didn’t happen over night, Kyshenko didn’t either it was a gradual process. Badr really seemed to change physically and stylistically once he started to prepare for the 2008 Grand Prix. Just look at the 2 Bonjasky fights they were 2 very different Badrs. The first fight Badr went in with a tight guard and was fighting smart and technical (fight could have gone either way), in the second fight he came in like a bat out of hell and got dropped in the first and was clearly losing. The illegal strikes were only meaningful strikes he landed.

Don’t get me wrong Mikes is a good training camp for the right kind of fighter. It’s a place that focuses on developing physical attributes and explosiveness over technical skill. Saki clearly improved when he joined while Kyshenko clearly got worse. Badr improved his ko raitio at the expense of any real defense. If his opponent didn’t fold in the first 2 rounds he struggled.

the 1st fight, Badr Hari should've won. and if Badr Hari hadn't been disqualified in the 2nd match, he would've won that too.
Fair enough decision in the first fight and Hari was losing in the second fight that's why he stomped Remy out of frustration. You have no grounds to say he would have won that fight.

Hari is 0-2 versus Remy and has never won a WGP. He's not even a top-5 GOAT HW Kickboxer.

Mikes Gym is the most overrated gym on the sport, i like Big Mike but he is far from being the best trainer.

Mike's Gym's Bumswinging style damn near ruined Kyshenko. Thankfully he left and re-rounded his game back out. Looks to still be on those Mike's Gym supplements however.

he is easily in the top 5 kickboxers for sure.

He's not in the top 5 HW kickboxers, let alone top 5 kickboxers.

Top5 HW would be something like this in no particular order:
Peter Aerts
Ernesto Hoost
Semmy Schilt
Rico Verhoeven
Remy Bonjasky

And ff you're gonna tell me that Rico shouldn't be in there because of lack of "legit competition" and no "k-1 achievements", then you can replace him by Andy Hug anyway. And that's just HW...

Doesn’t matter Rico will make him quit again.

how can you say they are the top kickboxers? it makes no damn sense

look at Badr Hari's record:

insane.

now compare his record to the guys you listed. the difference is ridiculous. Badr Hari's is way better.

put any of the guys you mentioned vs a prime, hungry Badr Hari and he will win over all of them via TKO or KO. in fact, put anyone in the kickboxing ring against a prime, hungry Badr Hari and he will kill them. you think buakaw or ramon dekkers would stand a chance against him? hell no

Badr Hari = the God of kickboxing.

you don't fuck with Badr Hari. you just don't

First of all being the best is not detrmined by the number of KO's, otherwise someone could KO 100 crappy opponents and seem like one of the best.

Badr's never won any of the things that matter; a K-1 WGP or a Glory HW belt. He also got KO/TKO'd 9 times as a professional (sometimes by nobodies), and disqualified twice because he couldn't handle losing.

Buakaw is a completely different weight class so I don't know why you even try to talk about a fight between the two, but Buakaw sure achieved a lot more than Badr has.

Ya I'm not going to waste my time debating an obvious Fanboi.

LOL! @ including the GFC belt as an accomplishment...
