I think that there are different definitions in use by different people and that you have no idea what you even mean when you use the term. It's just a kind of vague term of abuse. Someone cuts you off in traffic, and you punch your dashboard and say, "fucking neoliberal!"
Does anyone outside of the war room ever say “neo” anything in real life? I’ve literally never heard it outside of this forum.

Once I saw Jack say "you don't seem to know what 'neoliberal' means," I knew exactly who he was talking to. VivaRev is a mid-century conservative (that is, someone who is superficially supportive of unions and ambivalent to trade, but opposed to everything adjacent to and important to workers' interests and the interests of exploited people and basically anything that requires substantial thought or reconsideration of powers, yet somehow thinks himself a socialist class warrior.

I used to give him a little bit of a pass, or at least try to, on the basis that he means well, but it's getting harder and harder to do that as he continues to align himself with right-wingers that he knows are exploiting his emotions.

What you mean, is that I am a economic progressive in the mold of Eisenhower, and FDR, and your GDP growth is good for all propaganda and lies on trade, as well as lies on illegal immigration not destroying low skilled workers wages, is the mark of a neo-liberal.

Is it bannable to heil Good Hitler or does that only apply to Bad Hitler?

SOMOS HITLER

Pretty much only pretentious douches use it. Probably 80% of the time it's used within the WR, it's also PDs who can't even tell you what it means.

And yet you demonize the "right", whatever the fuck that is, every chance you get.

How convenient for you.

Eisenhower and FDR were neoliberals. And being aware of the fact that illegal immigration (which has been net negative over the past decade) doesn't reduce low-skilled workers' wages doesn't indicate any ideological position.

It's literally impossible to debate someone who refuses to say what he thinks other than that he's mad. If you made an effort to discuss things in good faith, I think we'd all be happier with the results, even if we walk away disagreeing.

I'll tell you what Jack. Why don't you define neo-liberal then?

Are you under the impression that I'm as in the dark about what "the right" means as you are about what "neoliberal" means?

Because you don't know the meaning of the words you use doesn't mean no one does.

You know the situations and the context in which the word is used, but don't know the meaning of it or why it fits in the context or situation.

You want me to tell you what you mean when you use the term? I think I did already. Just a vague insult. If you have a more-concrete definition, I'd love to hear it. It's not possible to discuss anything with you if you keep all your views secret.

Define it Jack.

Make sure whatever definition you give, completely covers everyone on the right, or I might just spend the next 10 posts telling you how wrong you are, while refusing to move the debate along.

Nope, I know the debate trope jack is using right now. If you haven't been posting here for 10 years, you probably don't have a clue what i am talking about right now.

You are over here coming to the aid of king debate trope.

Can you not see how dumb it is for you to ask me to define a term that you are using?

This is the conversation:

Viva: You're an X!
Me: What's an X?
Viva: I refuse to tell you.
Me: OK, we can't really discuss it then.
Viva: You have to tell me what it is.

How can you be surprised lucky?

You have surrounded yourself with the passive aggressive scum of the war room.
Are you referring to @Fawlty , lol? There are a lot of things that can be said about Fawlty, but in my experience, passive aggressive isn't one of them.
