300 is nothing if you have a 100k bankroll. 300 is a lot if you have a 1000 dollar bank roll. units let you know how confident someone is in a play regardless if they play for pennis or with big boy money.
They should be more common, I think there's been more 10-8 rounds overall lately. I like to play draws when there's an explosive striker who preferebly is prone to gas (Vannata prime example) vs a wrestler/volume grinder, hoping for one dominant 10-8 round from the striker and then that he get's...
Only action I have on the fight is a shot at the draw. Will probably play Belal if he becomes an underdog after the weigh in when the size difference is highlighted
Phil said he bet him as a "sadness hedge", he thought Muhammad should win and that he'd be sad if he lost, but at least he would get his pick right as consolidation... don't see how that can inspire much confidence
That was literally all they did when I started listening about 2 years ago, much worse than this weeks. I saw them getting a lot of shit for it on social media and their youtube videos then and they toned it down a lot. Seems like they're getting back to their old ways.
Yeah, because potential customers will think he has increased his bankroll by 200% in 10 months marketing like that, while it's probably a lot lower. Low key scamming.
That just proves my point that he's not understanding the concept of units. If he's up 20k in 10 months and still using his units as if he had a 10k bankroll and betting 10u+ per fight
Or he is doing it on purpose to inflate his record as a tout
So fucking true. The hardest part about betting on MMA is actually being able to place large enough bets.
That "only 2% is profitable" I really doubt is the true for betting on MMA. Or there are just a huge amount of people just betting for fun without any research/knowledge at all, which is...
I'd argue it's the easiest sport to bet on since all this unknowns also affects the bookies setting the lines. Also the low liquidity that can lead to big odds shifts without too much money having to get bet, if a fighter got some undeserved hype behind them they can get overvalued in the odds...
I don't think you can compare a 20 second knockout against a top 10~ fighter to a 3 round clear win. We know Reyes got good technique, can defend takedowns, got cardio for 15 minutes etc. We don't know that about Walker.
All Akhmedov does on the feet is throwing power hooks that he loads up on. You could say he's a more effective striker if you're generous, but absolutely no way in hell is he a more technichal striker than Boetsch
