The Stipe fight I can understand and at the least make sense of. As much as Tom deserves it more and it's the fight to make, I can justify the Stipe fight. But Perreria over Tom would just be insane.

No doubt, both guys win the UFC is gonna have to make that fight. I suspect Tom will win in July vs Blaydes and Jon will fight Stipe in August. And I think they'll match them up in Nov/Dec at MSG. That I can see being Jon's last fight.

I think it's more a indirect way of saying he's ducking Tom. He's being passive aggressive.

If Tom wins in July and defends his interim belt and Jon continues to fight beyond Stipe, they won't be able to avoid this match up. If Tom was a contender, than it's a different story, but he's the interim champ and the clear #1 contender. At that point it will be just too obvious in staging...

Like he doesn't get cleared by the doctor or something. Yah, that would just be awful for Chandler. But at that point, I hate to say it would almost be comical considering how long he waited for that fight and put his career on hold for it

I think at that point Chandler would just want the fight regardless of any injury or his condition. Even if its a big risk he loses, he would hide it and take the fight.

I'll take Pantoja. Best record and resume and actually has defended his belt 2x. Moreno and Figgy sort of cancel each other out.

I've been loving LW for almost 10 years now. Conor moving up was exciting (for 1 title win lol), Khabibs run was amazing, then Charles was incredible and now we have the dominance of Islam and possibly the best run at LW of all time. And you got all the others that make the division great.

Oh that's good. Not even a man was the best part.

They considered his Pride career as well. Since the UFC bought Pride it transfers over I guess. In the poster above you can see it says Pride 2005 GP winner. But there is more to just being in the HOF than records. It's memorable fights, title wins, and overall just being a legendary fighter.
