He absolutely does not but had scary power with striking that's refined. I give him a better than normal punches chance if you will and Alex is now black belt level working on defensive wrestling
I disagree. I'm not trying to put Tom down, but he doesn't have the grappling chops to worry me too much and his striking isn't that great. He seems to have good timing and yes he's well rounded but this is Jones we Rw talking about.
I know people of all types and backgrounds that find a lot of these views dangerous and incompatible with the west. I'm not sure its racial that people have self preservation and are skeptical given the track record.
The only reason why people think he still won is someone came up with this absurd myth that you just about have to kill the champion to earn the belt. Yeah if the mafia is running your fights.
I wouldn't put much stock in belts. They have bad ass blues and purples that just quit getting promoted. Or white belt khabib. I'm sure hes pretty decent by now working under glover. World class athletes will make people look like trash sometimes. The only bb I truly question was Rashad evans...
So what? Late 30s is just fine with good nutrition and training. 40 is where it's a problem. And a lot of guys fall off because of a ton of injuries and hard sparring. We shall see.
He was trying to be funny but it didn't work because he named one of the best looking fighters available. Clay Guida would have worked better if people remembered him.
