Instead of name calling and being disrespectful, how bout you make a poll of who wins? When more than 50% of Sherdog agrees with me you'll see who the casual is.
How can you say that after what Max Holloway just did?
I love Aldo and I'm glad he got the win btw, no hate at all. But he easily could have picked his shots for a KO or TKO.
I love Aldo, but if he indeed let Martinez off the hook I'm not cool with that.
Personally, I think he got the takedown to ride out the safe decision though.
I would have liked to seen Aldo close the show on the feet.
I could dissect it to the point to where I don't enjoy it, but I absolutely loved it. The dialogue and the energy was exactly what I wanted to see. It left me wanting more. I want to know what the beef is between them now.
Pass. Not interested in watching Gamrot pin Charles down and ride out a lackluster decision with the only excitement being at the end of the fight when Charles throws up a desperate submission attempt that isn't even fully locked in.
Neither fighter is supposed to benefit from the call. The point of giving a fighter who got kicked in the balls a break is to keep the fight neutral, not give them the upper hand.
If they got kicked in the balls and there was no call, they would be at a disadvantage. If there was a call, it...
I'm rooting for Dustin, I like Islam but he isn't close to being my favorite fighter or anything. Just being objective, the guy has a massive size advantage and his skill and technique is top tier. I just don't see anybody at 155 giving him a challenge and I feel like it's a waste of time.
Be honest here, do any of those guys have a snowballs chance in hell against Islam? I mean I get it, they deserve their title shots. The reality is that they just don't have a chance.
Aside from Jones, Islam is the best fighter in the UFC currently. Him having to fight Dustin Poirier is an insult to the intelligence of real fans.
The only way Islam will truly be challenged is moving up in weight, those who know, know. The rest are just haters.
Who at 155 has a chance against him?
And not his fault he fought against the fighters he has, he fights who the UFC tells him too. The truth is he has ZERO competition at 155. Screw title defenses, move up for fights that are actually challenging.
