I saw a review (on here I think) which specifically mentioned that the viewer appreciated that Anna Taylor Joy's character does mostly driving and shooting and as such avoids the annoying film trope of a 100 pound chick beating up grown men sized grown men.
I am not sure I am ready to commit to the whole franchise, but is that where you would recommend starting?
(Generally speaking I can enjoy film without necessarily seeing everything in order or having to be primed with all the backstory.)
I'll probably watch it just because I find Anya Taylor Joy hauntingly beautiful.
I haven't seen any other Mad Max films.
I do wish she had not gotten that stupid cheek surgery though, but it doesn't seem to be that bad in the promo images for this film.n
I appreciate that you didn't cave.
I also grew up in a "ball busting" culture.
In my circle of friends if no one makes jokes at your expense, they don't like you. And if they say horrific horrible mean spirited racist xenophobic politically incorrect shit to you, they love you and would go...
There is a bit to unpack in this sentence and imo it tells the really important part of the story.
"He was in the best shape he's been in years."
I agree. (And I think we are largely on the same page here)
But, to be in "the best shape he's been in years." ... is partially hinged on Fury...
Fury would have to do 2 things and I am not convinced he WILL do those things.
1) take his conditioning properly serious for a long camp if not 2 camps, like a 8 week conditioning boot camp, 2-4 weeks light (if time allows adjust all this as needed) then a proper HARD 10 weeks fight camp.
It...
It looks like he took a budget, deposited it in his bank account and made the cheapest show possible
Might still be funny. He is an OK comedian and knows other comedians that could be good writers.
Might be fucking horrible too though.
Being an OK comedian doesn't always translate to acting.
Great actor.
Killed it recently in that Cowen Brothers 4 vignettes thing and Old Henry.
I'd love to see him get more lead roles.
He crushes supporting work too though
And Holmes was quite a bit younger than Stipe will be when this fight happens.

Yo... thank you.
Skid Row was my favorite band for a while growing up and definitely would hold a prominent place in the musical backdrop of my formative years.
(I Remember You was the first song I learned on guitar, along with Every Rose Has Its Thorn, as they are nearly they exact song...
I'm jealous.
I dug cinderella.
Under rated band in my opinion.
I started playing piano at age 8 or so in about 1987.
Cinderella is basically how I learned to sing falsetto (he uses quite a lot of falsetto in his vocals)
I got their album "Heartbreak Station"
(I think, I'm old and that was...
He partied his balls off for 35 years and got old.
He is still alìving and doing solo stuff.
The band got sick of him and kicked him out for being a diva and from all available evidence without actually researching it, they were probably justified in doing so.
...many singers could pull it off live.
Maybe...
Ken Tamplin or
the replacement dudes from Journey
or Alice in Chains
or a few Broadway guys*
C) She did pretty good but I definitely feel the different in power, growl and rasp.
When girls sing male parts there is some missing...
