Xenforo Cloud has scheduled an upgrade to XenForo version 2.2.16. This will take place on or shortly after the following date and time: Jul 05, 2024 at 05:00 PM (PT)
There shouldn't be any downtime, as it's just a maintenance release. More info here
I can see your point but it wasn't just that fight in isolation. That bloke was an absolute shambles all night. That doesn't explain the rest of them. Has he got a history of decisions this shithouse?
I suppose it's possible. Justin said he's taking 6 months off from sparring after the KO so he won't be booking anything until end of the year/early next year. We'll see if the division has moved at all by then.
Not diminishing anyone at all. Volume vs impact is often a debate and every fight is different. I don't think it always comes down to damage either, more what stands out in judges memory. Strickland's style also lends itself to dropping rounds like this in close decisions.
They'll announce it when they announce tickets for the Perth date in August.
We just did this whole thing with Leon and Belal in Manchester in July.
Dana will make a video yelling at you soon.
Of course it makes no sense any more. He called him out when they were both champs so it was a shot at a second title for champ pay and ppv points. Now he'd be moving up for a random fight at regular pay. Sherdog doesn't have its thinking cap on in this thread.
That was 5 years ago. He didn't look great in his only win since then. Strickland is far more skilled but if Costa can land power shots he may confuse the judges in some rounds
Article I saw on Twitter said the main issue was criminal record but yeah, I can see it being too risky taking him there, especially if they're trying to make the Saudis a major business partner
