Great card but I think Tawanchai vs Smokin Jo in MT is a bit of a mismatch. I know how much you guys over idolize him as a joke on here wink wink @Snubnoze707 but man, what has he got to offer against Tawanchai in Muay Thai?
I would actually support what @Cole train said. You're much better off doing roadwork, working on your flexibility and even cross training for skills rather than heavy lifting for fighting at amateur level. It also depends on the weight class of course, maybe heavy lifting makes sense for a...
Hard to know if your time is good without knowing the distance of the hill you're running and the elevation.
Also I would avoid doing hill sprints carrying heavy objects like a 100lb sandbag, you're just gonna fuck your knees long term.
I like the recipes on this website:

Even if you're not into Paleo Diet, it's all healthy recipes and quick to make (usually 15-20 minutes). You can see them by category on the website (poultry, fish, beef, etc)
Yeah I guess tossing my brother through our living room window wasn't much smarter. He got his revenge when he tied a barely visible rope in the stairs making me trip down the stairs...
That's true, but there are also people who turn into this sort of stuff after a lot of brain damage or drug / alcohol abuse or sometimes even too much time spent being brain washed online.
Brain damage definitely is real though.
If I were his family I'd force him retire from fighting and have his brain checked up... He's not even in his thirties yet, the state he's in already is legit sad at such a young age.
What I meant by that isn't that Saki is a better fighter but that both times they met Saki came out winning unfortunately.
I'd favour Tyrone Spong vs Ghokan Saki any day back then.
Yeah when rewatching it I was surprised by how back and forth it was, from memory Spong dominated the fight and Corbett didn't do much but it was actually quite a back and forth fight even though Spong's shots were having much more effect and impact.
Saki was always Spong's kryptonite, TKO'd...
Saying Max Holloway beats Tawanchai in Muay Thai is like saying Max would beat Mayweather in boxing. At some point its good to realise that there are different combat sports and different levels in those sports that fighters specialise in.
The risk of getting KO'd is still there in other MT promotions. If you really think about it, those One FC fight purses are life changing for the Thais. Sure fighting 3-round fights in 4oz gloves is a lot more reckless in a way and it favours using punches more, but the step up in pay is 100%...
I mean it happens quite often that farangs start in the countryside or on the islands before ending up in the big stadiums. How many farangs do you have fighting in Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, etc.? Or even on smaller orgs like Max Muay Thai ? Even the names like Skarbowsky who were European...
Shadow vs Jimmy is at 154 indeed.
Even though Haggerty and Carillo have been doing MT since childhood that still doesn't compare to the skill level and number of stadium fights Thais usually have in the same time frame though. Not many farangs can hold their own vs the top Thais of their...
Mate Haggerty fought Nong-O and is fighting Superlek next, it's not like he's just getting easy fights to make him look good. At some point people need to stop hating on Haggerty and give him the respect he deserves.
Shadow is fighting Jimmy Viennot next, it's a solid opponent if he wins he...
I mean him and his team are definitely grasping at straws here. He got hit clean and it definitely wasn't an elbow or much of the forearm, it was the bottom of the glove / the wrist that hit him. It definitely wasn't intentional anyway and if it had been the big part of the glove that hit him it...
