I don't think we can assume that it will be a power creep raise. The devs are not huge fans of power creep (obviously it is necessary when you add new content every 3 months, but they try to make things harder). The demo certainly didn't make it seem like it was going to further power creep...

The worst part of the 'Diablow' announcement is that had it been D4 then GGG would have had to eventually put some thought into making a PoE '2' which would have possibly given us a better game engine.
