    Tonon looked great again...

Lets see Tonon fight someone legit and take a few clean shots. A lot of hyped grapplers look great till they get hit clean. Can't teach chin and toughness which Brian Ortega has tons.

World and Olympic level elite grapplers who crossed over to MMA but failed badly, and why.

Most elite wrestlers and judoka are also well past there prime when they enter MMA. The reason many enter MMA is that they can no longer compete at the top level in there sport.

What is Conor's career trajectory from here on out?

I think Justin Gaethje would be a easy and exciting win for Conor. Gaethje is exciting and uses his face as defense which should make it a easy night for Conor. Plus he's fought both of them.

Does Tenshin lack power or is Rodtung chin that good.

    NCAA Wrestling

Mckenna can beat Steiber. Steiber lost to Eierman at U.S open, got smoked by some japanese guy at the World Cup, and needed criteria to defeat Evan Henderson at WTT.

    NCAA Wrestling

No way is either Steiber or Dake locks. Steiber frequently loses or barely wins against guys he has no business struggling against. Dake barely beat Ringer his last 2 meetings and IMO has looked good because of favorable match ups. A lot of people on the wrestling forums are picking Zahid to...

Thomas Hearns vs. Julian Jackson at 154.

McClellan was not a harder puncher than Jackson. Jackson would drop guys dead with one punch. McClellan punched hard but used relentless pressure to stop most guys.

    Question about NCAA.

I'm still laughing at the guy claiming to have no wrestling experience throwing around plenty of D-1 wrestlers. I also have no experience and throw around Kyle Snyder and Gwiz on a regular basis.

Who is the best boxer to watch for short and stocky builds

Miguel Cotto. 5'7 with very short arms. I think his reach is 66" which is extremely short for a middleweight or welterweight. He very technically sound and is not a pressure fighter like those listed above.

Teddy Atlas Goes Bezerk and has an on air Meltdown over Boxing Corruption

If it was corruption then she would have made the card closer in order to not attract attention. People who take bribes or are corrupt try to make it least obvious as possible. I think she's just incompetent like most government employees.

To those that scored it Canelo/draw

Disagree IMO Canelo clear rounds are 1,2,3,11,12. I also gave 6 and 10 to Canelo based on landed the more effective shots and body punching. But I can easily see both those rounds going to GGG. That is why I am happy with a draw or Canelo/GGG winning 7-5.

GGG vs Canelo = Robbery of the year candidate?

Canelo won 1,2,3,6,10,11 and 12. He landed the better combinations, body punches, and defensively was better. GGG had a great jab and aggression, But most of his power punches was either completely or partially glove blocked or Canelo rolled with the punch. Very few clean effective power punches...

***The Official SANCTIONED Canelo/GGG PBP Thread***

I gave Canelo 1,2,3,6,10,11,12. I gave Canelo 10 because I thought he did more winning the first minute the ggg did the rest of the round.

Thoughts On Duane Ludwig's Style of Teaching

The issue I have is that Bang like a lot of MMA and American Muay Thai coaches, are in a big hurry to teach advanced techniques to beginners. Good boxing coaches will build you from the ground up which takes years. Switching and shifting is great for those who have been training for years.

Uh Margarito is fighting Carson Jones tonight?

Cheating or not, Margarito had a great chin, and cardio. Always liked watching him fight and still one of my favorites.

    True Fighters

Nostalgia is overrated. Guys today are just as good as the 70's/80's. I bet if we could have superfight's between top fighter's today vs top guys in the 80's, today's fighters would win more then they would lose.
