Gordon actually wanted to prove to folks he's versatile and could be a three point shooter. He even talked about entering into the all star game three point contest. Then I think Jokic basically told him to stop being a fool and stick to his specialty of dominating at the rim, and his FG%...
Nuggets are 19-4 in the past two post seasons when having starters healthy last year and so far so his year. At least Lakers aren't losing to palookas.
Edit: IIRC two of the losses were last possession type OT loss Minnesota and Murray missing at buzzer versus Heat in finals.
It's a nice moment, but an agile guard being able to make space out on the perimeter for a mid range fadeaway against a center, even as amazing as AD is, isn't going to blow me away. Anyhow, there was no sense in trying to get AD to relive that moment like there were all sorts of variables...
He was accused of scuffing the ball. Batters would frequently ask the umpire to look at the ball after pitches that moved in ways that made no sense. But he was never actually caught.... It was tremendously fun to watch as a Astros fan.
I appreciate Nolan Ryan's longevity and having those no hitters but no way would I consider him GOAT. I'd go with Pedro, Big Unit, Clemens and Carlton over him very easy and probably others.
1986 Mike Scott tho will always be my fave single season pitcher. Tho it seems evident he was...
I'm with AD on this one. Stupid question. Simple iso play and Murray made an average step back mid range jumper. Nothing complex or worth analyzing.
Funny is how much this is masking a pretty sub par past couple of games from Murray. 18 for 48 from the field, sub 40% shooting.
Damn I'm gutted I missed this. Sounds like a great finish for Nuggies fans, especially fun for a home game crowd. I hope someone posts the last 5 minutes uninterrupted on YouTube or something.
Yeah, Mavs would be tough. Last year not a lot of people had faith in Denver. now the league has made roster changes with beating Denver in mind. If they repeat, they'll really have to earn it.
I think the Bucks will get it together. Pacers run and gun won't be successful playoff time I suspect.
I also like wolves over suns. And 76ers to squeak by Knicks.
Someone raised a point that the slow pace of games of the opening round plays in the Lakers favor and of you have to go through Denver now is the time to face them. I think this series will tighten up.
I haven't been able to watch anything but I think Denver is vulnerable to teams that play high pace. And I think Minnesota matches up well with them. Them having home court over Minnesota could turn out huge.
But Denver offense is pretty sturdy. I heard a fun stat that last year they won 5...
I think it's more common now for more roster changes as teams have "windows" approach more. I think it's probably harder to have a dynasty these days than prior eras for that reason. So gotta tAke hat off for what Golden State did.
Anyhow, having heavy book ends of good teams and really bad...
