Ancient megalithic ruins from around the world

I don't know, but the narrative that you only need time and a copper chisel does not add up when looking at some of these sites imho. People have become institutionalized and rigid in their thinking, and our understanding of "things" is being shaped by experts who really do not know nearly as...

    Books you're reading now

Just finished this. Recommended for anyone interested in anthropology, archaeology or genetics. The author sticks his neck out a bit and goes against the orthodoxy when it comes to human origins and that there are important genetic differences among various human populations. Here is a NYT...

    Books you're reading now

I started Red Rising Thursday and finished Morning Star Last night. Highly entertaining. Remarkable in that the books are full of typical tropes but it doesn't seem like a tired rehash. I don't feel any need to read the sequels but thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy.

    Crypto Megathread V14 - I’ve got 81000 problems but a BTC ain’t one

Faith in these institutions is at an all time low and only getting worse imo, and the entire system falls apart if trust is gone. I am taking the optimistic side, but people are more aware of how badly they are getting reamed by these jackals than ever before. Banks as we know them today are not...

    Crypto Megathread V14 - I’ve got 81000 problems but a BTC ain’t one

This is a good point, but I have come to a different conclusion (btw I am not saying I am right and you are wrong, I have no idea wtf is going to happen and both you and Rob make a valid point). Many regulations are about keeping an accurate count and who is responsible for the custody of...
