Personally I'm pretty stoked. I train with Gunther quite a bit and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins this thing. He should be pretty marketable too for the UFC - the dude has some stories...
Not true. I've known Cody since he first came to our gym in Ohio. While I disagree with some of his antics - he's a genuinely nice kid. Hes been helping this boy since his ammy days.
Some of you people are ridiculous. Even though I dislike Werdum - he's a great fighter. There's no denying that. I am also honored to call Stipe my teammate and saying that Werdum sucks discredits his win.
Nope. Most of the people here that said yes have not trained with a 135lb pro before. I have 3 years of western boxing and MT training and almost 4 years of BJJ. When I roll with a certain 135er at my gym - I get trounced (I weigh 195lbs). This guy is a pro, but Mighty Mouse is a UFC champ.
Been training at the same gym as stipe and Jessica eye since 2007. Both are awesome people and go out of the way to greet fans and are very down to earth. I sparred with Jessica when we were starting out. I also rolled with stipe and got owned severely.
Met Matt Brown when he came down to...

I was a white belt for over 2 years before getting my blue. I think that was pretty quick, considering that I train no more than 2-3 times per week. In...
You're probably not "rubbish." However, there are a couple of realities that you will need to live with.
1. There will always be people at your gym that will be better than you and you may not ever catch up to them.
2. There are people that learn/develop faster and will eventually surpass...
People are still arguing about the first fight? I'm an A. Silva nuthugger, but Weidman KOd him fair and square. You can dispute decisions, but a KO is a KO anyway you slice it.
The second fight was indeed a freak incident. Weidman did not specifically train to break Anderson's shin. Was he...
