Bisping being a bigger name/more popular fighter brings in more money, and not to mention being one of only a handful of mma fighters to be 2 division champion is a bigger notch on the legacy belt for GSP than coming back to WW to fight a guy who is tailor-made to get his shit packed in by GSP...
I got their trap bar last november. Came fast and shipping was good, no damage to the box or anything.
I know some guys who ordered from them before, it's TitanFitness level stuff for Canada basically. Customer service was on point before covid but now it must be a hassle.
Sounds like a life of poor decisions and poor training progression.
Like you really fucked your own body hard here.
All I can say is take time off and rehabilitate. Then when you're better start slow as hell and don't push your body to the breaking point.
Slow and steady really is the best way.
Still not as much as when you have to press that sucker up to the sky. After I've set up and dug my shoulders into the pad and lowered my ass down...It doesn't nearly require as much core as pressing overhead.
Just because he was weak on pulls doesn't mean he couldn't toss a guy around like a sack of flour.
Lifting is lifting and grappling is grappling...GSP could probably come back and say JC was weak in grappling.
If you push press yes. Upper body is from the hip to your neck. What goes up will depend on how strong you are from core to traps. Bench is more dependent on lats/triceps/chest and some tightness in the core which is nowhere near what ypu need for the overhead strict press.
You should try loading over 200 per hand and do 25 yard farmer's as fast as you can while keeping control of the weights, and do multiple sets...You'll change your mind. The added benefits of strengthening the core, back and lower body make it one of the most useful all around exercises.
I used...
If hanging hurts just do static holds with a trapbar or farmers handles. Do those timed and try to beat your time every week and move up the weight gradually. Not everyone's shoulders are the same, issues that occur with your shoulders might not occur for someone else.
I've got a bad left...
The only reason the OHP was taken over by the bench was for ease of judging. Both are pretty good indicators, I just think a strict overhead press is a more adequate gauge compared to bench. You can't manipulate ROM on an overhead like some do with exaggerated bench arches
I used to ridicule the roller, until I started using it religiously after watching Duffin's video years ago. I can honestly say it's helped my trunk to stay very solid throughout my workouts...And daily life.(L-4/L5 and disc fractures...Deadlifts and ab rollouts are my saviors)
There is a strong correlation between a big overhead press and a good bench carryover. You see it in strongmen who barely flat bench who decide to bench for the hell of it and end up pushing 500+ for reps easy peasy. You rarely see the opposite though, which is interesting.
I'd say Iron Bibby...
Strict overhead pressing with no leg drive is better. You stiffen your entire body and you have to use yourself to push the weight...Not rely on a bench to do so.
I'd have to say overhead pressing is a better indicator of strength. Far more natural than bench, and you've got to be strong all over...From bottom to top.
Bench comes in second I feel.
Also if you're worried about attachments...This guide can help you mix and match what can fit this rack. Works with any rack.

This is a Canadian company, good rack for the price.
As for the bar...Synergee has some great bars for the price tag. Not Rogue, but apparently good enough.
In the last decade alone we have seen guys being stronger/fitter/healthier in this sport. It's leagues ahead from what it used to be.
From diet and training, to even the chemical aspect.
Guys are not just looking for performance, but longevity and safety as well.
