Shinchon Gorilla - My BJJ Professor

here's a lil' vlog a student of his did about my professor. i've only been training bjj for around 3 months after doing muay thai for around 7-8 years. but i gotta say, he's one of the most technical and nicest dudes i know. plus i like his philosophy and always learning and not "sticking to...

    Opinions on this gym?

best to check it out yourself...all i get from his page is that he knows or has met Kronphet (the Thai guy in his picture) who is a legit Muay Thai stadium fighter and currently instructing at another gym. Kronphet is a friend and i can vouch for him...other than that i can't say much

    is tba classic easy?

i mean it's a huge amateur tournament...so there will be a lotta belts giving out two people from my old gym just won their class and division. one in the senior cruiserweight and another in the female class...Jackie Buntan - she's a name to look out for. she'll be great once she turns pro

Who would beat Golovkin at MW, past or present?

agree...both Canelo and Jacobs hit Golovkin flush...but he also took them and was not phased at all. that had to kill some of their hopes

Who would beat Golovkin at MW, past or present?

do any of you see Golovkin being defeated by KO? i can't see anyone outright knocking him out...that guy's chin might be tougher than Hagler's. he'd prolly get overwhelmed and beaten to a pulp, but he'd still be conscious and possibly even standing.

Who would beat Golovkin at MW, past or present?

i agree with a few of the posts here...RJJ beats him easily. Toney too...Hagler, it'd be a war like his fight with Mugabi with Hagler getting the nod. Ward and Hopkins probably win in similar fashion however, i don't think anyone KO's Golovkin. the only one i could see is RJJ getting a TKO from...

GGG claims his run at MW was better than Hopkins

Hopkins has a better resume at MW right now. if GGG beats Canelo in a rematch, BJS, and Charlo or Jacobs again...i'd say it's a lot closer to even or better by then. we'll see.

BREAKING: Canelo vs GGG 2 officially cancelled

Seano's first post on this thread is nothing about Canelo and how ultimately, the fight was cancelled because of his actions... it's a bash at GGG and "his fans". and it's not just Canelo vs. GGG. whatever the popular or more liked fighter is at the moment, you always seem to pick the...

    Canelo suspended

do you think Canelo is getting suspending not because he popped positive for Clen, but because of the amount of clen that was found in his system? i mean it's not like he had a trace of it...if that was the case, then yes, the NSAC is going against history by suspending him, but he also had...

GGG calls Canelo and De La Hoya cheaters

while Seano does post some great points and knows his history and boxing in general...@Seano, you do come off pretty biased at times... with that said, it's no way around the fact that Canelo is getting preferential treatment when it comes to this issue...both the NSAC and the boxing...

can watch priscilla davids hit pads all day

exactly...he drills the fundamentals so each person has a good base to build off on their own potential. when i first started training, i never felt like he was inaccessible or anything. he may not teach every single class there, but he's definitely a hands on owner and trainer.

can watch priscilla davids hit pads all day

in my opinion, he is undoubtedly one of the best muay thai coaches in the game...his students speak for themselves. each have their own style...but the fundamentals are all there. he was also my first muay thai coach as well.

Dana White: MAyGregor did 6.5 Million PPV Buys

so we are saying the same thing? not sure what you're trying to get at? sumo has always been #1, but i thought it was dying or not at the peak it used to be? are you saying boxing is watched more or mma? your earlier post said boxing does better ratings than UFC (i'm assuming you meant MMA?)...

Dana White: MAyGregor did 6.5 Million PPV Buys

i don't remember UFC ever being the most popular in Japan? they have Rizen, Pancrease, Shooto, Dream, Deep, One, etc...the UFC never had a breakout Japanese star for a long run...there were a few contenders here and there, but most were in Pride or Dream. Boxing has seen a resurgence in...

Dana White: MAyGregor did 6.5 Million PPV Buys

boxing was bigger than mma...i live in asia (Korea at the moment) and boxing gyms have all but faded and have been replaced with MMA gyms. same in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. MMA is THE "it" combat spots in Asia...there are more MMA programs, shows, etc than boxing, wrestling, taekwondo...

What's up with the Lomachenko GOAT hype?

i think once he gets to 140lbs, things won't be as "matrix-like" for him. as great as you are, there are weight classes for a reason. Garcia is doable because he came up from the weight class that Lomachenko is dabbling in right now. as for Crawford...idk. the guy is a big 140lbs...i mean...

Dana White: MAyGregor did 6.5 Million PPV Buys

Conor is definitely bigger in Asia than Canelo...not bigger than Mayweather, but definitely more popular than Canelo
