    Watching live sumo

Tickets are sold at general ticket stores, where you also buy tickets for busses, concerts and etc. Quite easy and cheap, besides the seats nearby the arena, which were starting at ¥50,000, but come with drinks and food. Pay attention to the divisions starting hours, to avoid the beginners...

How the Humiliation of Iowa Style Explains why People Liked Kung Fu Movies

Chinese use Wushu, as a broad term, to describe all styles of Kung Fu and martial arts. The Chinese MMA and BJJ federations are under Wushu licenses😁 So, essentially, for the Chinese, BJJ is a style of Kung Fu 😁 Talk about mind fuckery...

How the Humiliation of Iowa Style Explains why People Liked Kung Fu Movies

I run a sparrings only day, once a week. The rest of the time, Id have the class use something like this: 1/3 of the time is warmup drills, including various partner carries, pummeling/uchikomi, arching exercises, and etc. 1/3 is technical drills. 1/3 is positional sparrings. Guys/girls, Ive...

Worst🤣 They are from people who have never set foot not only in the gym in question, but even in the country. Usually some keyboard warrior, puffing his/her chest online I own a small retreat, nearby my hometown (famous tourist location). On several occasions, some random guy will talk tall...

    150,000 BJJ black belts Globally?

Thats pretty much it. And the way it should be in Jiujitsu as well. Faster track to Black Belt, and only Black Belt divisions at the Worlds.

    150,000 BJJ black belts Globally?

I have organised several Jiujitsu events, and thats what I can say: - Every division is full of sandbaggers. I had guys, who have over 20 MMA bouts, 15 years of grappling, to claim white belt division, so they can put another medal in the bag. - Belt division is stupid. It should be: Beginners...

And they are usually related😁 Naming traditions in Bulgaria keep the ancestors names repeating, so essentially a male bloodline would be 2 names alternating.

    150,000 BJJ black belts Globally?

Maybe we can safely say, that IBJJF is big only in English speaking countries then😁 Re: promoting BBs. Ive never promoted a BB yet, and Im in no hurry for that. By the end of this year, I can do that myself. Quite the opposite, over the years, there were several occasions, where people (not...

    150,000 BJJ black belts Globally?

Maybe the gyms you've seen don't, but wrestling is practiced at full speed all the time. Muay Thai is trained at full speed in Thailand. Kyoukushin is practiced at full speed everywhere Ive been. Judo is trained at full speed in competitive dojos. Jiujitsu is not special in that aspect. As a...

    150,000 BJJ black belts Globally?

You dont need to. Ive used kickboxing to block and evade attacks, Judo to trip people on their ass/knees (instead of high amplitude, 180° midair rotation, with landing on their neck), and wrestling to just hold them pinned on a wall.
