I saw the 2025 date and thought “but that’s so far away”, then I realized it’s almost 2024. Time flies when you’re getting old.
GTA is the reason I bought a PS2, 3, and 4. Rockstar games are almost the only games I played throughout my 20’s and 30’s. I’m hyped.
Cool, I’ll keep that in mind if I find myself not getting into it again. I appreciate that they were trying something different but for me, gaming and watching a show are such distinctly different activities. When I want to game, I don’t want to watch something and vice versa.
I think I got pretty far in my play through but the episodes started to wear on me. I just wanted to play the game, not watch TV. Other games ended up grabbing my attention more and pulled me away from it. Hope it goes better the next time around. I’ll be dreading the last boss now lol.
I’m very much looking forward to this. Been replaying all the Remedy games in anticipation. Never played American Nightmare but just got it for cheap with the xbox deals going on right now.
As much as I’m enjoying the game, I hope they do something about the performance soon. I’ve had to switch to resolution mode (PS5) to stop the flickering lights issue. The frame rate holds up okay but the dips are very noticeable in larger open areas on the map. Lots of aliasing going on too. I...
I had never played the original and the remake wasn’t really on my radar either but after hearing all the good things about it, I gave it a try. I’m hooked. I had to buy the original to compare. So far, I’m halfway through the original, keeping slightly ahead of my NG+ round in the remake for...
Just an fyi, I got my Series X at my local GameStop. It wasn’t advertised anywhere in the store, in fact it was the only new console that they didn’t have an empty box advertising the price on display. I just causally asked the guy about it while I was picking up a game for my son, and to my...
I got myself a Series X this weekend. I have mixed feelings about dumping that amount of money into gaming after having bought a PS5 a year ago, but whatever, I’m set for the next decade. I’m currently enjoying Read Dead Redemption and GTAIV while I wait for some Xbox exclusives to catch my eye.
I squeezed in a bit of play time before heading out to work. These are games I have attempted to go back to a number of times over the past decade or so but couldn’t get far because they’ve aged so poorly. With this new coat of paint and qol changes, it’s a whole lot easier to get into. It’s...
S&M or maybe even straight up torture. It peaked in the mid 90’s with a tour bus driver known as Tony F. Wiggins who apparently liked to create torture devices for their backstage experiments. Audio of him abusing groupies was originally included in the Smells Like Children album but was cut...
San Andreas was the shit. I was so hyped for that game and it didn’t let me down. I preferred the setting and time of Vice City but San Andreas took GTA to a whole new level with customization, map, activities, etc.
Glad it’s got all I was hoping for to be able to jump into these games again. Totally would’ve been on board for full remakes though. From what was shown in the trailer, I’m most impressed with San Andreas so far. Tommy is looking a little weird to me at certain angles, but I’m glad the neon of...
I’ve been in the incredibly shitty situation of having to swear to keep my mouth shut after discovering someone had cancer. After she died, I took a lot of shit, even from people that weren’t even close to her. It really sucked to be on the receiving end of all that shock and frustration...
