Welcome to Jurassic Park is my favourite from this list by far. Just something special and magical about that scene, especially watching it for the first time as a kid. Still holds up great so many years later.
I'm just a hobbyist. I try to keep up with the new stuff that I find interesting, but my knowledge isn't that deep. There's just too much stuff being published for me to keep up with, and much of it is probably not that interesting for a hobbyist anyway.
As for T.rex, personally I think adults...
Yeah most of the big Theropods like T.rex, Giganotosaurus, Mapusaurus and Carcharodontosaurus were probably real close in height and length. If you take a margin of error and individual variation and the relatively small sample size into account its very hard to make a noticeable distinction...
Brontosaurus has been reinstated as a valid genus a few years ago. Pretty interesting stuff imo.
And Tyrannosaurus is still the biggest theropod in terms of body mass.
But yeah, overall the video isn't that accurate. Most of the models used resemble Ark or Jurassic Park dinosaurs instead of...
Voted for Alien. My favorite horror movie.
But The Exorcist is amazing as well, wouldn't be upset if it won either. It's the most impactful horror movie of all time and I doubt any horror movie will have such an impact again.
The Exorcist
Jaws
Nosferatu
Rosemarys Baby
The Ritual
Exorcist is probably my favorite on this list. The Ritual is one of my favorite recent horror movies (last 10 years or so).
Never really thought Friday the 13th was that great, but maybe I should give it a rewatch. It's been years since I...
Nice poll, love me some good horror movies!
Looks like we voted for the exact same movies. Alien, The Shining and The Thing are 3 of the greatest horror movies of all time imo, so those were the easiest choices of the bunch. Psycho and PA are also really good movies and solid picks.
Or maybe the UFC shouldn't schedule a contender fight only two months before the title fight? They know injuries happen and you can't just bank on the winner saying yes to a shot when injured and on short notice.
Bad planning on the UFCs part, but of course they'll blame the fighter.
So DDP is on Dana's shitlist because he wouldn't take a title fight on short notice while injured? That's incredibly unfair.
Maybe they should not have scheduled the title eliminator only two months before the title fight.
The winner of this fight will seriously get a shot without a single...
We should let time judge before making this conclusion. Can't base title shots off of completely unproven hypotheticals.
Especially since Costa has done literally nothing in the last 4 years to earn him a status of a high level win. He's done nothing relevant in the division in 4 years, so why...
It's really assinine that people try to discredit Whittaker and say he's washed up while Costa was never even on his level and hasn't done shit since winning a split dec over Yoel 4 years ago lol.
He got molested by Adesanya, lost to Vettori despite pulling some filthy weight shenanigans and...
No evidence for your claim. Whittaker has one recent loss, to Dricus. And a very close fight with Adesanya. Can't claim fighters are washed up based on one loss to a top guy.
Again, if he keeps losing sure. But untill then he should be considered miles ahead of Costa who has done nothing to...
Strongly disagree. Whittaker beat Vettori recently, and more impressively so than Costa did.
Maybe he is past it, but so far there's no indication of that. If he loses his next few, we can make that claim but losing to Dricus is not enough to draw that conclusion.
So as far as I'm concerned...
What the fuck? No.
Whittaker is ranked above Costa, and Costa has one win in the last few years, a completely washed up Rockhold. How would he be a bigger win than Whittaker who still beats ranked people?
I'd say peak Thor was stronger than peak Brian, although he was around much shorter.
My opninion, Thor, Brian, Zydrunas are the three strongest of all time, peak for peak.
