Jehovah's witnesses must have a lot of time on their hands

There was one time when they tried pushing their pamphlet through my door, and I kept pushing it back out. Eventually won that one. They must have spies in my neighborhood - I'm Filipino and they once left me one of their pamphlets in Tagalog. On the other hand, I recently received one of...

    Any M1 Carbine owners?

The M1 Carbine OP was asking about and your M1A are very different weapons.

Range reports: Whatcha do this week?

You may have heard California shooters went into a frenzy as we were able to buy standard capacity magazines for about a week. It was fun to shoot a local match with my CZ P09 filled with all 19 rounds as it was intended to.

Lets talk about the Philly Shell in thai/kb

Here I'm the fat(ter) guy putting in work against the human heavy bag, so you don't actually see the shell do its work much. As a southpaw I actually like to default to it, but it ends up getting used differently. I keep the left hand by my face to catch the rights, roll off of the jabs and...

Range reports: Whatcha do this week?

Enjoyed a novice oriented, zombie themed match over the weekend.

    Power roundhouse kick?

Think like you're trying to kick through your opponent, not stopping as soon as you make contact.

Range reports: Whatcha do this week?

Really enjoying PCC matches, even behind enemy lines in CA. Just working on being accurate and smooth for now, then work on getting faster on both shooting and reloading.

Best Muay Thai Gym in SoCal

Have you tried Bryan Dobler's gym in Fontana too? Art of 8 - Melchor Menor's gym. I'm just getting back into the swing of training after letting life's other priorities take too much control over the past couple years, and happy after joining Team Oyama thus far.

Seuua Daao Muay Thai Gym Tour

Does he even have that spot still? All his recent video clips appear to be at different local gyms.

Anyone here drive a Subaru? (Subaru brahs gtfih)

That's the only one I have of the two together. Former boss' kid bought the old one, guess it's a thing to put some WRX parts in it.

Anyone here drive a Subaru? (Subaru brahs gtfih)

Forester fan here. It was a good mix of fuel economy, space, and handled itself well through light off-road work (mainly desert hills and undeveloped construction sites). Put my '07 through 247k miles in 10 years, then bought a '17 last November.

Looking for suggestions for a 308 Carbine.

You'll have to ignore the California-friendly "fin-grip", but take a look at the PTR-91 SC. No issues hitting steel at the ranges you intended with relatively cheaper Perfecta 147gr stuff from Wally World.

Pro Boxing Supplies vs. Pro Boxing Equipment...

I want to say Pro Boxing Equipment is the longer established entity. I bought a banana bag and stand from their Pasadena store years ago. When I get home, I'll have to take a look at how it's actually labeled. But as similar as they look, they must be related in some form.

    Rival Focus Mitts

I've used those mitts for several years now, they've held up pretty well. Has a big enough hand compartment that I can put them on with wraps on, convenient for going back and forth on partner drills.

    Fairtex TP3 Thigh Pad Review

Holy necro post, Batman! They've held up pretty well, though I haven't used them much as of late. I will say with the hardest kickers, you'll still end up with a dead leg over time. As far as trying to kick them, I'm usually at Master Toddy's Anaheim Monday and Wednesday nights. Suppose you...

Anyone Drive an SUV / Crossover?

I have an '07 Forester that now has 238k miles on it, and not quite ready to retire it yet. More than adequate for daily driving, and most of the off-road I've put it through are construction job sites and a few mostly flat desert trips. In its lifetime, aside from routine maintenance, I'v had...

    39 and started Muay Thai

One of the toughest sparring partners I had was 52 when I last sparred with him. Tough as nails, in great shape, kept moving forward.
