As thread title asks, anybody catch it? It was from that anaconda/foot lock guard and he rolled over his shoulder into Calasan's guard. As I only saw it once, I didn't get the details. Does anybody have a gif or video of the match? Or if you can describe the grips he had from your recollection...
Not quite sure where to post this, but this part of the forum being the only thing I follow I'll put it here. I Just learned how to use pitivi and this is my first video. It's a Shogun highlight with fights from his first ones in Brasil onto Pride and through to the UFC. Let me know what you...
When you compare BJJ's price to Olympic sports like Judo and Wrestling, it doesn't work. Olympic sports are usually subsidized in one way or another by governments with lots of volunteers helping out. They're not meant to be viable business models. There are so many judo schools in community...
This is sad news for sure, but the family seeking legal action? That's weak. The guy knew what he was getting into when he started training, ANYTHING is possible when you do ANYTHING. There are risks to anything and everything and you assume these risks when you participate whether you're aware...

The cage made a massive difference. Aoki is too used to getting pulled back to the middle of the ring where he has plenty of space to maneuver with his guard. Credit to gil, too. He played a smart game. In and out, not hanging around too much.
i wouldn't go so far as to say crossfit is bullshit, it's just their philosophy doesn't jive well with what you do. crossfit is about generalization, being decent at everything. you as a grappler, don't need that. you need to be amazing at a few things. i'd stick with high intensity interval...
elbows in, don't get flattened out, and if possible, start out on top. don't cede top position to him unless you have amazing sweeps or subs from the bottom. north south and knee riding big guys works best for me...i'm a toothpick at 150ish and 5'11.
mine is in white (3 months old) and hasn't happened to me. like braggle said, contact them. i think the vinegar wash that jmoh is referring to is for coloured gi's, but i don't find that it has ever made a difference.
