Both times, Rampage lost the Coaches Challenge, failed to have one of his guys become the Ultimate Fighter, and lost the fight against the other coach after the season aired. I believe he’s the only coach to go 0/3 and he did it twice.
Longer than that, I believe. He has to have the most losses in UFC history but he’s also racked up quite a highlight reel and his power is a problem for absolutely anybody.

I’ll say Beneil Dariush. I get the feeling that his ceiling isn’t much higher then where he’s at presently but he’s racking up the bonus awards lately* after a stretch a few years ago where he could have easily been written off...
I think I referred to him as the welterweight Brad Tavares in another thread recently and I feel like both comparisons are apt.
I’m definitely a fan though. The way he’s branded himself is hilarious and frankly, Remember the Name is a pretty unique nickname.
Jake O’Brien went 1-1 to start his UFC career, lost to Cain, dropped to light heavyweight, won his first fight there, and then lost to Jon Jones and got cut.
That had to be the “We have been hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray, run amok, and flat-out deceived” moment for a lot of fans young enough to not know about kayfabe at the time.
Edge’s return last year was incredible and Rey’s 2018 return literally got me back in to wrestling but I find it hard to believe they’ll pull off anything of that magnitude with no live crowd.
