A win over the CHAMPION wasn't elite competition? Just stop. It's bad enough to be a loser keyboard warrior that trashes on a fighter he doesn't like, but to trash fighters that guy beat just to make him look bad is a whole different level of pathetic. Not to mention Porier was also a...
Condit has been fighting pro since he was a teenager. Every win was a finish until 29th fight and when he had 27 wins he had finished all but 1 of those fights. Has anyone else ever had a finish rate like that? It wasn't until wrestlers took over WW that Condit started slowing down. His first 17...
I don't remember Jones losing round 3 of the Bonner fight, but that was a long ass time ago. You could definitely argue he lost round 1 vs Machida, but I thought that was severely overstated just because when people see an unbeatable guy look human they always exaggerate. That round was close.
Nah. I don't think Jones had lot a round until the Gus fight, which was already more title defenses than Khabib will retire with. Jones' resume easily wins. Jones also had to be well rounded rather than just exploiting a lightweight division rife with guys that like to strike.
What percent of African DNA is required to be black? Or maybe it should be based on how dark your skin is? If you're a quarter black and have white skin are you still allowed to call yourself black?
It's all a bullshit social construct.
It's hard to believe that the guy that nearly upset Tony in his UFC debut has gone on to struggle so much against middling competition. I really had high hopes for Lando.
Styles make fights. Just because he never uses his wrestling offensively doesn't mean it wouldn't be invaluable keeping a guy like Khabib standing. Chuck Liddell made a career out of doing just that.
The elite wrestler than has never fought a wrestler? Nah. Fedor was beating people at their own game. Khabib is very good, but he is benefiting massively from having the right skill-set at the right time, given the current lightweight UFC roster. Khabib would struggle to stay in the top 5 at WW...
Do Sherbros really not know that people shrink when they get older? You can easily lose an inch of height naturally, add on knee and back injuries and 2" is pretty easy too. It's also harder to keep on muscle mass later in life when your testosterone drops.
I think this is the best paint contest so far, everyone that entered should be damn proud. Both the creativity and artistry are off the charts on this one.
