Why does Canelo get any credit for starting his career at 140?

Not a rookie but not quite prime either.

Why does Canelo get any credit for starting his career at 140?

He fought Cotto afterwards, in 2015.

    Usyk is P4P #1

Hilarious that this guy needs Canelo to lose so "his" guy can get elevated, and not through their own achievements.

You vs The World (bad decisions you agree with)

This is a god-awful video lol. Little does Thomas Sowell know that Joe Louis' image was meticulously managed by his handlers, whereby he had to abide by certain rules so that white America wouldn't be enraged at him like with Jack Johnson. Speaking of Jack Johnson, he was an extremely boastful...

Has Canelo Reached A Whole New Level?

It's quite simple, Golovkin and Kovalev are more accomplished fighters than they are. Golovkin debuted as a pro at an older age, even if Canelo would've fought him right after winning the title against Cotto, Golovkin would have been 34. Now lets look at when Canelo actually did fight him, he...

Has Canelo Reached A Whole New Level?

It definitely would be a big deal, just making sure that he'll get the credit he deserves if he were to beat him. Kovalev was 36 when he fought Canelo as well.

Has Canelo Reached A Whole New Level?

How much can you penalize a draw to Golovkin and a loss to Floyd Mayweather at 23 years old? Usyk never faced guys like that. Also isn't Beterbiev like 36?

Has Canelo Reached A Whole New Level?

Past prime Golovkin and Kovalev are better wins. Also it was Canelo's fourth weight class when fighting Kovalev. Canelo has also given up height and reach while unifying vs Smith and Plant. Four weight classes, plus undisputed, plus wins over Golovkin, Kovalev, Jacobs, and Cotto top anything...

Media Miesha Tate clarifies comments about spending 98% of purse

People grab on to the "98 percent" hyperbolic statement and disregard the actual argument of fighters being massively underpaid.

Media Kayla Harrison: “Izzy couldn’t stop my takedowns”

It's incredible how many fragile egos are in here lol. I can't believe how many people take that quote seriously and not as an obvious joke...

Vergil Ortiz Jr vs Egidijus Kavaliauskas Aug.14th DAZN

I see where you're coming from except for this bit. Crawford and Porter would give him hell win or lose, but Vergil absolutely annihilates Thurman. If little 40 year old Pacman can drop and hurt Keith, Vergil will stop him.

Errol Spence JR vs Manny Pacquiao Aug.21st PBC FOX PPV

Beating Spence at 42 years old puts him in the GOAT argument imo.

Good list. For me a definite must have though is pacquiao vs marquez 4

    Manny Pacquiao is the GOAT.

Sure but having a win over someone doesn't necessarily make them greater in a historical sense. Manny has achieved things Floyd hasn't (champion in 6 weights) and has achieved things after fighting him - beating Thurman to become the oldest welterweight champ.

    Manny Pacquiao is the GOAT.

No shame in losing a decision to Floyd considering Pac won his first title at flyweight

    Manny Pacquiao is the GOAT.

I would have him definitely top 15. But I still rate Robinson, Armstrong, Charles, and Moore above him.
