Vergara vs Lacerda
TJ Brown vs Algeio
Caceras vs Pineda
Quarentillo vs Jackson
Also have a spot for Davey Grant retiring assuncao with what I think was an inverted triangle.
I swear the broadcast cut out right when matt brown landed that elbow to diego. Could see the motion, then freeze, then we came back to Sanchez looking sprawled out like a corpse.
Billy Goff vs Johnny Parsons
Oleksiejczuk vs Iron Turtle Park
Chidi vs Shahbazyan
Blanchfield vs Barber (just don't like giving her a title shot off that)
Giga vs Yair (just do it)
Caceras vs Cub
Smith vs Jacoby (tho I do like Rountree)
Spann vs Meinfield
Max vs Hooker at LW
7. Maybe it was the early prelims for why I'm going this high. Felt like lots of quick finishes sped things up, and I enjoyed seeing Olecks and Billy Goff in a pair of one round bangers. Zombie vs Max went about as well as a retirement goes if the guy's going to lose. The escape in the...
Font vs Yan: Makes even more sense now with both guys having lost three out of four. Would imagine Rob wants to get right back in there, considering the little damage he took and the cut was only to 140. Eventhough I am still a fan of both, neither guy would do much good knocking off another...
Man, I love watching Font and Sandhagen. Such a cool fight, but I got to root for Rob based on his age, proximity to me, and dog status. Just hoping win or lose we get a memorable scrap and the winner go on to get that belt. This is a fighter's fight, and with all respect to sterling/suga...
I'd just pull him from the event, book something else, and have sandhagen weigh in for a backup on ufc 292. Only other scenario I could see is if Figgy bumps up to 135 and fights Corey instead of Cruz.
I'd be okay with Pedro Munhoz getting the call. Both he and Chito have an eerily similar record within a few fights from each other, and common opponents in Aldo, Edgar, O'Malley, Font, and Cruz. Pedro comes forward too so I doubt Chito would have time to take the first round off. Sure Henry...
hopefully 292 gets:
Rob Font vs Yadong/Petr Yan. Rob mentioned he's got something in the works.
Ian Garry vs Jeremiah Wells/Buckly/Geoff Neal. Would be a throw back to Connor's Boston debut. Not sure Garry's ready for Neal but he's unbooked and seems like a good matchup.
Frevola vs...
