Is he going to defend the belt twenty times and break a ton of records? Probably not. He had the answer to Volk and that was enough to break the grip he had over the division. Good enough for me.
That's massive conjecture though. We saw Frank it a big right hand, step back a little awkwardly, and then flatline him in one of the sport's nastiest knockouts.
Tito was always pretty susceptible to body shots, so it's a toss-up with him, but Chuck could absolutely hang with the top ten. His chin was great until it wasn't. Same with his timing.
Yeah, just not in a title fight. Everyone keeps talking about how he set the record for HW title defenses, but every other division smashed that record. Dude just needs to get back in the mix and beat a contender.
I don't know that Bobby Green is a fair litmus test though. The dude reminds me of Michael Johnson. He's either a world beater or terrible with little in between. For that matter, I don't know how those two have never fought.
Meh. His business decisions don't impact my wallet. I want him to fight the top guys instead of clogging the division. That's all the Chito fight did. We saw that Chito is still not putting it together when he needs to and lost another lopsided decision where he couldn't pull the trigger.
That's fair. I just think everyone overstates how well he did against Charles. For me, if you didn't finish Charles, it may as well have not mattered. He recovers too damned quickly and somehow gets even more dangerous.
