To tell you the truth I’m pretty indifferent about Francis. However, sometimes there are matchups that make pure sense as a combat fans dream. Gatti/Ward, Hagler/Hearns, Geathe/Poirier, and I think Ngannou/Wilder fits into that category.
Who was he fighting? I will put my money down that if the advertise a Wilder vs Francis fight, “two of the most powerful punchers in any combat sport” people are definitely going to tune in. I know I would be one of them.
He will probably make his whole ufc contract fighting Wilder in what should be a wildly entertaining fight. So yeah, I think he’s going to do just fine.
This sums it up very well IMO. The rampage that was seeing eye to eye with his coach “ I think his name was Ibarra or something like that” was a solid technical beast. After splitting with him and having his breakdown, he truly never was the same.
Dana apparently can box. I remember watching a video a long time ago where he basically said that he learned that he didn’t truly have the heart of a fighter when the going gets tough like the true elite guys. So he basically gave up on boxing as some kind of career but always did the training.
When it’s nonstop action and you feel like anything can happen at anytime, that shit will have you at the edge of your seat better than a great suspense movie.

Have to disagree. I was actually very impressed with how well he kept fighting even though he was getting hit with everything but the kitchen sink. I was rooting for Kattar but was stilll nervous that whole fight. Even though Kattar was comfortably winning it felt like Giga could possibly end...
