At What Point Does Belal Have a Lawsuit Against the UFC?

I don't think anybody really cares, and honestly, I think Leon beats the crap out of him

Jamal has a great chance to KO Alex

Just looking at their respective careers, Alex has a significantly higher chance of knocking out Jamahal

Reminder: Hill got outboxed by Thiago Santos

I'd argue that Poatan doesn't fight like a tall lanky striker. He fights tight, relying heavily on his left hook and leg kicks.

So why is Poatan gonna lose to Hill?

I think Alex starches him, but to play devil's advocate, Alex isn't known exactly for his technical mastery of striking, so much as his insane power. He's very hittable and predictable, and not even especially fast. He's just gonna kill you when he does hit you. Theoretically, a superior boxer...

Isn't it crazy how the best fighters in numerous divisions aren't the actual champ?

BW and WW, I'm inclined to agree but they still have to fight the champ. MW, you're nuts. Khamzat barely got past off the couch usman, who himself is a career 170. LHW, you're still nuts. Hill is widely considered the weakest male champ in recent history, and didn't have to fight any of the...

    The biased commentary at 299

I've heard some bias before, but generally not to the point that it bugged me, but two fights in particular Saturday were rough, rda/gamrot and burns/jdm. To be clear, the young guns did win and should have, but the fights were way closer than they were initially expected to be, and immediately...

O'Malley is silencing critics every step of the way

He should have lost to Yan, that's just a fact. Every single media score has Yan winning. Yan seems to be losing a step though. If Sean beats merab, he should be clear to dominate the division for the foreseeable future.

MVP Would Lose to Most Welterweights On The UFC Roster

Yikes. Worst take I've seen OP. He had Holland badly hurt at several points and mentally broken by the end of the fight. He was clearly looking for a walk-off ko which is the only reason he didn't get the finish. Holland also has a granite chin, dude has never been ko'd.

Dern, Ortega..and all BJJ players in general.

The wrestlers in the UFC are generally elite level athletes and D1 studs. Wrestling as a sport heavily favors insane speed and cardio. BJJ is much more grindy in comparison, gi jiu jitsu especially. Thanks to a growing comp scene and a larger focus on no gi, we're starting to see more...

Who had a flukier title win, Serra or Topuria?

Nah, man. Nothing fluky about Topuria winning. He was significantly faster and more powerful, and Volk was backing out with his hands low. I read that one within the first could exchanges, and I wanted volk to win as much as anybody.

    Is anyone picking Chito anymore?

My hot take is that chito should be a huge favorite here. The only way O'Malley wins this is staying on the outside with long punches and kicks for the entire 5 rounds. Chito is stronger, tougher, more cardio, better technical striking. O'Malley has made a career off of ko-ing grapplers who are...

Media Paulo Costa: “F*** Khamzat! He needs to do something. He barely beat Usman!”

Usman may have been a big name, but not at 185. He was a 170 who came in on like, a week's notice. He lost twice in a row to edwards, and was being written off as being too old. He was 100% expected to lose that fight.

Media How can you hate Raquel Pennington?

I don't hate her, but I think she has the fight IQ of a pet rock. She was absolutely piecing up Bueno Silva only to initiate the clinch, the one place Silva had a minor advantage

What makes Strickland a top fighter?

Simple, his defense, mental fortitude, and his jab and front kick. He's extremely difficult to hit clean, almost never overextended or rushes in, and his straight strikes deter most fighters from rushing him. It's simple, but extremely effective.

Bo Nickal's career is being rushed

Not enough time in his last match to really take much away, but he looked raw against Pickett. Sure, he steamrolled him, but that was purely due to athleticism and wrestling. He slipped, looked very wild and uncomfortable, and the arm triangle wasn't great, mostly just forced that one. He needs...

Ian Garry or Bo Nickal - Who has more potential to be a great fighter?

Bo and I don't think it's close. Ian Garry looked like a world beater against a 40 y.o. Magny who honestly should have retired years ago, and Magny never sniffed a belt even in his prime. I need to see Garry's wrestling tested. Athletically, Bo is just another animal all together. He also has...

Unknown fighters that own UFC fighters?

Probably happens more often then you think. There are tons of guys who've trained their whole lives but have great jobs and no desire to prizefight.

Colby started too late, but won 4 and 5 and proved to be the better fighter...

Y'all need to stop drinking when watching fights. Colby got his ass kicked bell to bell. The only success he had was when Leon engaged him in his own game, and even then Leon generally proved the better fighter.

Can we all agree that Usman would be too much for Khamzat right now?

What a weird necro, especially since the khamzat/usman fight was a while back now. That was also at 185 though, with usman pretty much coming in off the couch. Make khamzat actually cut weight and give usman a camp, it could be a very different fight.

Kevin Iole place Julianna Pena #1 on WMMA P4P List, Pereira Enters Top 10

Yikes, that list is terrible. He's got 3 lw's on there, including one who's never held a belt, he's got khamzat at 5 despite him never having beat a champ, yet no strickland who is the actual 185 champ?? Crazy. No flw at all there. And don't even want to begin to break down the female list.
