    Roger Gracie VS Kenzo Nakamura

If it's under judo ruleset, Nakamura would've outclassed Roger.

What was CM Punks first mistake on the ground

I wouldn't be as mad if he didn't take $500k away from a fighter that worked hard to be there in the first place. This is one of those fights where I sincerely believe I could've done better if I was in the ring.

Not paying your instructors is probably illegal

TS is just explaining the law, not how "all BJJ gyms are ran". This means that IF something happens, the gym owners would be liable.

Is the Grappling Technique forum becoming less enjoyable because of the hardcore advertising?

Being on Reddit now and coming back to Sherdog. There are definitely a lot more assholes on sherdog.

    METAMORIS 7 Results *SPOILER*

If you're in the SD area, visit Studio 540. That place is really nice. In terms of the vibe, I actually prefer 540 over ATOS HQ.

Purple Belts: Compete to win $1000

Wow.. 16 man bracket for $1,000? If I was still a purple, I'd be totally down.

Is the Grappling Technique forum becoming less enjoyable because of the hardcore advertising?

Yes. This is one of main reasons why I don't visit here as often.

Wrestlers! Has the culture changed? (Re: Girls Wrestling)

Switch BJJ gyms. My gym does not do that. Also, let the gym owner know you're a firefighter (or former fire fighter). Most gyms offer discount for public servants.

Rickson has a loss to Ron Tripp???

Honestly, I've never met a Brazilian that never had an excuse on why they lost.

RICKSON GRACIE (The FUTURE of Jiu-Jitsu, ENDORSES Ryron & Rener's Curriculum, Gracie University)

Serious question. How long does it take for a BJJ practitioner (say 6-7 years of experience) to learn the SD aspect of jiu jitsu as described by Rickson. 1 hour? Days? Weeks? For me, I think it's minutes. But that's just based on my personal experience. Don't give me that "it depends" BS...

It's very clear to me you do not train the real form of self defense

Saku learned GJJ before he fought Royce? This is certainly news to me.

Suffering from forearm fatigue constantly-blue belt seeking help

Massage. Works wonders for me. And I'm talking about real massage, not the happy ending kind.

Sh*t white belts say (lets hear your stories!)

Well, it's true. It'd be pretty tough to hold mount with a broken knee cap... I'd be holding my knee Peter Grilflin style.

    Overwhelmed when wrestling

The secret to wrestling is foot work and grip fighting. I find many similarities on the foot work with MT. So incorporate your MT footwork into your stand up. Grip fighting is the same whether you're on the group or standing.

    BJJ etiquette

Correct me when I'm wrong, but when you say tough, you mean physically and mentally tough right? I doubt you like to roll with a higher or equal belt that's physically and mentally weak. I've rolled with white belts that are physically and mentally tougher than colored belts. I prefer those...

RICKSON GRACIE (The FUTURE of Jiu-Jitsu, ENDORSES Ryron & Rener's Curriculum, Gracie University)

Ever heard of LARPing? You can't prove that I train or don't train. In addition, we will never meet in real life. Even if we do, if you issue a challenge to me, I will call the cops. Because I'm more civilized than you are. So how we'll be talking about techniques is hypotheticals (if you do...

RICKSON GRACIE (The FUTURE of Jiu-Jitsu, ENDORSES Ryron & Rener's Curriculum, Gracie University)

That's correct. Thus is the secret of my SD techniques. It's so top secret, I can only show it when I'm really being assaulted.
