Did he really though? When has a fighter taken 300+ shots and not even been remotely close to being in danger of getting finished or badly hurt at all?
Also, he did "stay up and try to coast to a finish" in the 5th with his pitter patter punches from Anderson's guard but if you pay attention to...
His finishing percentage is pretty good but he also fights at HW and hasn't fought anywhere near the level of competition Shields and Fitch were when they were cut as top 5 ranked WWs with winning UFC records after 1 or 2 losses (not consecutively) against top 10 opponents.
Dana doesn't really...
I mean for an ex con he probably chose the safest good paying job he could get but, to his credit, it was also the one he could make the largest amount of money in the shortest period of time with his personality and skill set.
He's done quite well for himself all things considered, seems like...
I'm a huge Khabib fan but no.
The difference is almost GSP's entire record consists of fighters who either spent time in the top 5 or 10, held major Titles or are current or future hall of famers and of Khabibs 29 wins only 8 of them came against top 10 opponents.
GSP also avenged both his...
Really.... Why was it a Title fight then???
I think the better question here is when was the last time Khabib missed weight when he made it to the scale? The Able fight is the only time I can think of and that was 8 or 9 years ago....
Also, if you're saying "wrong" in regards to the official...
In that case touché dude, I also like to make intentional mistakes when fucking with grammar Nazis and actually did consider you may have done that on purpose.
Well played my friend, you're all right in my books, lol.
He knocked Anderson down in the 1st and he was definitely out of it after the flying knee, hence his corner having to help him to his stool.
I've always been a Bisping fan but him winning 3 rounds is extremely debatable and goes back to whether you put more weight on volume or damage. Bisping...
Lol, yeah, Anderson was all "marketing hype", the dude sucked in reality and didn't add Cheal to the greatest highlight reel in the sports history in the rematch.
Fair enough but it didn't and Bisping was also looking right at him and trying to get his hands up to block the knee.
He had to be helped up and to his stool by his corner and also got the benefit of an extended break while Herb tried to explain to Aderson he didn't stop the fight.
I'm also...
So if he kicked him in the head there he wouldn't have been disqualified for kicking a downed opponent? I have my doubts...
That's a knockdown in any striking sport.
What did you fix? The flying knee didn't happen after the bell, luckily it didn't happen 1 second before the bell though or we wouldn't be talking about this cause Herb would have called it after Anderson landed 2 follow up punches.
Yeah, except he didn't, he got staggered in the first round and barely grazed the mat with one glove and tripped in the 5th. The round 1 one does qualify as a Knockdown technically but the round 5 one would have been rules a fall in any combat sport just like it was that night.
Chael getting...
Can't really tell if the knee actually touches in that GIF but 2 hands flat on the mat is a knockdown under any criteria.
Without the 2 hands to regain his balance he would have face planted, how this is even debatable is beyond me, lol.
In Boxing only 1 glove needs to graze the mat (hence the Mayweather/ Mosley "was it or wasn't it" controversy). Both hands flat on the mat like this qualifys as a KD under any rules, especially since the UFC credits Sonnen with a KD over Silva when Andersons glove barely touched the mat.
Damn, I had a similar thing happen to me years ago and have never done steroids. I had been smoking a lot of weed for many years when it happened though and it's never happened again since but I also quit smoking weed not long after.
I never bothered going to the Dr but this is interesting.
