I can't believe Tony lost to this version of Nate Diaz

Ferguson was FAR better than Nate in his prime. He may be one of the best fighters to not win a title. Beyond the physical damage, i think all the bad luck with title fights falling through messed with his mind. I hate calling for fighters to retire, but i do think Tony needs to be done.

Media Comparing GSP and Khabib's physique at 170 and why GSP is a weight bully

This fight should be openweight. Both guys walk around near the same weight anyway and would likely step in the ring in the 175 - 180 range. Why bother with a weigh-in? Having said that, I think GSP could get down to 165. He`s lost some muscle over the years. Anything below that, and i think...

Usman should be recognized as the BMF now

Put Usman against Khabib. Wrestler wrestler would be a lot more interesting. Its a shame that 170 has become such a boring division.

I was watching that 5th round with a heavy heart

Fight selection is key in this sport. Nobody can survive with the anytime anywhere mentality and not loss eventually. Its critical to be at 100% prepared before every fight, especially at that level. And i dont think Tony had it. The mental stress of chasing the belt was just too much. He should...

RIP Khabib vs. Tony, The UFC and Dana Just Ruined the Most Anticipated Title Fight of All Time

I think Ferguson was just burned out from being jerked around. Its been years since he was supposed to get his shot. I find this to be a real shame. To let so much pressure build and not get that final fight. Who know how messed up Tony is me tally after this. Its a mess.

PBP UFC 245: Usman vs. Covington - Main Card PBP Discussion: 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT

Cormier and Rogan are bias man. Covington clearly rocked Usman in 3 different rounds. What were they watching?

PBP UFC 245: Usman vs. Covington - Main Card PBP Discussion: 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT

I thought Colby was up. He had at least 3 rounds. And frankly it was a ridiculously fast stoppage, those hammerfists were barely touching his face. Colby is a jerk, but I feel he ran this fight. Kumaru got lucky.

Rogan: Dana said he's gonna try set up a rematch (Cerrone X Ferg)

I doubt the rematch actually goes through. Tony is fresh and Cerrone will need an extended leave. If i were Dana, i'd put Conor against Poirier win or lose. And Khabib against Ferguson. Conor loses to Khabib 9 out of 10 times. While Conor owns Poirier in my view. And if Ferg beats Khabib, the...

Rumored Jessica Andrade's last 6 opponents have accused her of being on steroids.

This. Brazilian fighters cheat like crazy. Im sure they don't ALL cheat, but the frequency is very high. Perhaps it comes from the same Soccer mentality that makes diving acceptable. Rose's manager is a moron for allowing her to fight in Brazil in the first place.

The hate for Andrade is disgusting

The slam was legit. I just don't understand how any UFC manager would allow their fighter to fight against Brazilian fighter in Brazil. The fighters are going to try to cheat (every Brazilian star I can think of has been busted for steroids), and the drug testing agencies seem less effective...

Does anyone even care about Amanda nunes?

I do find that irrational. She generally delivers, and goes for the kill. She has true Ko power. I like watching WMMA so long as its the upper tier. The women bring an extra passion that you gotta respect. Id rather watch Joanna or Amanda over any of the men at 125, MM included.

    Holloways striking is unreal

Agree that the Diaz's are pioneers with the boxing, but by today's standards their boxing is really not that great. They have horrible footwork... Don't cut off the cage at all. Their cardio tends to set the stage for their boxing. Max actually has great footwork. He has great range and...

    Tony vs Max please

I love Max, but he's giving up a lot of size and strength to Tony. Even if he somehow beats Tony, he'll probably take the beating of his life in the process. I hate this fight for Max. The dollars won't be there. If he beats Tony, he then probably fights Khabib... Which he just can't. Max should...

Max: ‘I Keep Hearing Conor, Khabib’

I think its Conor's best interest to fight Max. I think Max pulls out the upset, but he's still Conor's easiest fight. It gives Conor an out if he losses at 145 (weight). He gets his belt back in the process... Khabib vs Ferguson is the fight we've all wanted. It keeps Khabib and his guys out...

How are so many amazing grapplers unable to take the fight to the ground?

The problem is that BJJ is now table stakes. I don't see a BJJ focused fighter ever becoming champion again. The same is increasingly happening to wrestling... All the top fighters have solid defensive wrestling, its the differentiation of the striking that is making the difference. Khabib is a...

Anyone else think Conor destroys Max again?

Would be a good fight. Conor is great striker, but i think he would have a hard time catching Hollaway. Hollaway is incredibly nimble on his feet. Conor has quick reflexes, but he doesnt actually move all that much. His pace is not the same. Id probably lean towards Hollaway after what i saw...

How on earth did GSP outstrike MB and Silva didn't?

This! Silva was a great striker but poor boxer. He basically depended on guys to overcommit and drop them with one punch. He had no jab to speak of. Geogres isnt a great boxer, but he developed a hell of a jab. The guy has also been training with the best boxing coach in the business for many...

Why don't more MMA fighters jump rope?

I dont think many do. MMA Fighters arent exactly light on their feet. In boxing jumping rope is a part of the culture.

UFC Lightweight Unification Bout: (C) Conor McGregor vs (IC) Tony Ferguson

I think Tony fights a very smart fight against Conor. I don't think he gives McG an opportunity to counterpunch at all in the first two rounds. We'll see lots of lateral movement, and step in only occassionally. He'll drag things out as deep as he can... Thing with Nate, is that he really doesnt...
