I only wear mine during my workouts, around the house, or in winter. Their sweatshirts are pretty warm and light to shop around in. Then again..I could really care less what some other guy drinking a pumpkin spice latte thinks of what I am wearing :P
Damn the disrespect on this thread is pretty sad. Arguing with an individual over their own company and prices..who just got started. Rome wasn't built in a day.
ringside soft fill for the win....traditional bags are hard. Don't have to be ringside soft fill could be outslayer or another brand. However, glove protection is only the start..I am 40 now. Still work the bags for exercise and to keep myself defense ready if need be. My hands really thanked me...
I feel ya. My old hard filled ringside bags turned my winning gloves and grant gloves into foam dust...ate right through them. Soft filled has done wonders for the longevity and for my older hands. Found after 35..now that I just do this for hobby and fitness....protection..protection protection...
Great review. I have had so so luck with Sabas. Great looking gloves. Padding to me was perfect. The fit is amazing. The longevity...not so much. Just threw away a pair after only 6 months...I think if they are going to charge higher prices the product quality in the padding needs to improve...
If I can get those De La Hoya gloves at a discount I am with you. They are simple and straight forward. However, for 150...nope. Like those ones you posted will have to check them out.
I was a huge fan of the fairtex, ringside, and rev gear elastic wraps. Till I got a pair of the pro box ones. Turns out more expensive doesn't mean better..the pro box equipment ones are awesome. Much better fit than my ringside heritage ones or mexican style wraps from other brands.
I would pay that much for winning..but lately Title has upped their gloves to that price range. They are also charging nearly 14 bucks shipping. I could get a pair of cleto's or winning for the price of a mid grade title glove now. It's madness.
what is so hard about putting some gloves in proper wrapping..boxing them up and shipping? Honestly...don't beat around the bush. Guys a scam artist. If he can't take ten minutes to box something up you paid for..then he is shady. GIVE THIS GUY HIS GLOVES OR HIS MONEY!!
I have owned every DB from Cleto to Title..the one I found most useful and still use to this day that would be great for starting out is the ringside 9 x 6 leather one. It runs 49.99 new...but wait for their weekly sales and get it for 40 percent off or more. They have great rebound and last...
Synthetic appears to be the new "thing." Rival, Ringside, and Title have all gone that way along with the new everlast elite gloves. I don't buy that skintex or synthetic leather is better. To me..their is no substitute for leather.
I have been noticing over the past year that Title Boxing..more so than previous years, has increased not only their gimmick based gloves and equipment..but the price!! Nearly half of their normal gloves are now 100 plus dollars, and half of those don't even have more than half genuine leather...
I just keep looking at those on the site and it reminds me of candy corn. Curious what population mosin is marketing to. Are these fall gloves? Very unappealing.
Boons are designed with a longer cuff, but are nothing like a traditional boxing glove at all...I own a pair of white in 14 oz they are tight.fit nicely..but are front heavy like any other thai glove. Did I mention they are tight?
Hi all, seen a thousand of these in the past. However, with all the new companies and my devotion to many older brands I am lost. As I have gotten older 36 now, my knuckles have taken a beating. Been at it for about 30 years now in some form of boxing training. Always stuck to Reyes or Everlast...
Ringside or title..cleto and everlast have a horrible rebound response...my favorite double end right now is the basic ringside one with the latex bladder inside. Really nice rebound reaction, good quality leather, and lasts. Got it 2 years ago looks brand new still after hours and hours of beating.
