I only watched the first episode, but if this wasn't Fallout, I wouldn't consider watching anymore (always liked the games and concept). I know some shows take a while to get started, but that was almost as long as a movie and didn't manage to give me a single character worth watching. Weak...
It's not so much that politicians are stupid. It's more that international politics is a cut throat business - and more so in the Middle East where countries are mortal enemies and pose existential threats to each other.
Like, imagine if your next door neighbour hates your guts and is on the...
Sure he is, but he is not risking bedlam here: if this is all Israel is going to do it is seems to be as restrained a response as anyone could have hoped for, basically designed to give Iran no reason to further escalate, whilst still sending the message that Israel will respond to attacks on...
No, man, Israel has been working for years specifically to be able to strike Iran directly without having to refuel in the air. And the planes in question have stealth capabilities. They could probably do so without the countries in between even being aware their planes had crossed through their...
Israel has bombers that can strike Iran without refuelling in the air. I know that because it was kind of a big deal when it was first reported a few years back
Even dug up the link for you...
Of course it does. It can't launch a ground invasion or anything, but it can certainly do a series of targetted bombing like the ones Iran did last night. The Israeli airforce have trained for years and years for the eventuality of it having to strike Iran.
And Iran has been lobbing bombs at Israel through its proxies for decades. It's meaningless bickering about who started it in this case, but it's clear that direct country to country attacks represents a significant escalation. Israel is going to have to clap back at Iran in the same manner: a...
...and that's kinda of how it's been going: Israel and Iran have been fighting a proxy war for a good while. But it's different when Iran attacks Israel directly, from its own territory. That's a significant escalation.
We can only hope that the Israeli response, which is almost sure to come...
While I don't want to defend the US particularly, this is literally untrue. Iran is the power behind governments overthrown in Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq. It har proped up Syria's regime these past twelve years. They are meddeling all over the region.
Agreed on the boobs, even though we are nitpicking. The books don't shy away from sexuality, but the movies are almost completely chaste. But I take it as a sign of the times we live in. Big blockbusters will show shirtless dudes, but women are mostly covered up.
Finally got to take my kids to watch this. These two Dune movies are a bonafide miracle. Love the book, but it is impossible to film, or at least it SHOULD be, but this was just stupendous. Gonna watch it again, because I find that rewatching movies based on books I know well is an even better...
Dunno about worship, but he is legit. One of the best strikers to watch right now.
I was bummed out when Dillashaw fell off, Izzy lost the title and Conor lost himself - the UFC needs a flashy, larger than life striker to spice things up.
Best thing about Sean are his pivots and his footwork -...
You can't just "go chest to chest" with a guy who literally has the footspeed of a gazelle and a sniper rifle for a right hand. You have to get to him first and people acting like that's easy are just... I don't even know what to say.
Depends on who can impose their style on whom. I could see Sean being as elusive as he was tonight and beat up Merab badly before he ever gets close. Hope we get to see it.
Thompson used to slip like that too, it's a classic karate move. Sean might be even faster, but he is also several weight classes lighter. Wonderboy's best striking exchanges were amazing to watch, but I'm not taking anything away from O'Malley who really looked sensational today.
You guys acting like that's an easy thing to do. O'Malley has the quickest feet and pivots we've ever seen in mma and he can crack to boot. Chito had to walk through hell to get to him and probably was already compromised by the time Sean slowed down a little by round 4.
Forget about the rainbow stuff, the way he pivots out of harms way is frickin' beautiful. He looks like prime Wonderboy 2.0 with that stuff. Best footwork I've seen in mma and the most impressive thing was that it still looked great in the 5th round. His conditioning must be through the roof...
