I have a Bucket Handle Tear in my Meniscus :(

Hey man! Had the exact same thing happen to me earlier this year in april. I got a bucket handle tear in my right medial meniscus. It also flipped over which caused my knee to lock up completely in a 90 degree angle. It was stuck and I could only move it for a couple inches. Had surgery one and...

Getting subbed a lot when turtling

Thanks :) I keep doing it because it works in class and I've seen quite some guys escape effectively by using this method. I figured that if I could fix some major errors in the way I do this I can use this as an effective escape too.

Getting subbed a lot when turtling

Good point. Thanks! Well, apart from the ocassional guard pull I strongly rely on the single/double. Other than that my skills from that position are not that great. Anything I could check out to improve my turtle techniques?

Getting subbed a lot when turtling

Whats up F12? I have a question that I can't really seem to get an answer to. I've been competing regularly last year and just had my first tournament of this year. I start noticing a negative trend in the matches that end up with me being in the bottom side control. When I can't escape my...
