Israel is going to knock Anderson out brutally with a seemingly (light, not powerful) headkick
Gastelum is going to knock Whittaker out with punches early
This is what I see going down y'all nothing too bold or crazy but it was weird I pictured the whole thing. Both finishes will be somewhat...
Tony shines against orthodox and conveniental fighters. Struggles against unorthodox fighters.
Tony shines in the later rounds (4 and 5) he was down 2-1 on the scorecards against both RDA and Kevin Lee, his biggest wins. This is a 3 round fight.
Tony has been hurt badly by unorthodox strikers...
Another thing I didn't touch on in the first post is that it's only 3 rounds. Ferguson usually shines in the 4th and 5th rounds due to his awesome cardio- he gets better as the fight goes on, and Pettis is the opposite, starts strong for first 3 then fades.
Tony was ahead on the scorecards...
Look guys on paper Ferguson is a much better fighter. Pettis used to be great but has looked on and off for several years now, losing most big fights hes been in. I like Pettis too but despite his more recent wins he's still not the same as he used to be- for whatever reason.
Ferguson has more...
OP worded it bad but yeah he may be on to something lol. Lotsa guys leaving a gym that may or may not be tapped due to Jones ratting out coaches/suppliers/etc
Whats more suspect is how bad MM looked. Guy was slow and getting caught against the cage. Not sure if he got old overnight but I was shocked how unusually ineffective MM was
Pretty crazy in retrospect. I feel bad cause the fight couldve been more competitive but it seems like Garbrandt totally blew it by fighting emotionally and senselessly brawling instead of following a gameplan and picking his shots/using his speed and boxing advantage
Cody actually has better boxing but i think TJs ability to mix up the strikes and also being much more relaxed knowing he can easily finish Cody and the pressures on him to fight angry and prove a point will be his downfall. Could easily see Cody winning via KO though still
Schaub wrote up a big response on his twitter as well. Now the ball is in Dana's court... not sure how this 3rd rounds gonna go but its a tie going into the 3rd
