I think it'd depend on who the victories were against and how the victories came, but he'd almost certainly be in the discussion for top 5 if not top 3.
I hope Arman can earn another shot. Their first fight was a lot of fun.
Oliveira always has a shot with his boxing.
I think a lot of guys at 170 would present tough challenges for Islam. Ideally, for me, he'd do 2-3 more fights at 155 and then move up.
I'd love to see Islam vs Covington.
I think some top WWs would pose big challenges to Islam, but that'd just make for compelling matchups. I really hope he moves up.
I voted Khabib, but it would be very close. If Islam beats Oliveira again and then another top-ranked challenger, I'd probably bump his ranking above Khabib.
I had it 3-1 as well, but round 4 was super close.
I also thought round 5 could've gone either way given how well Shevchenko was doing in the first few minutes.
But a draw is not a crazy result. But doesn't that draw mean Grasso is now a "disputed" champion rather than an "undisputed" one?
I think Belal should be getting the title shot, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen (could change, though), so:
Belal - Usman would be a solid contenders match.
Belal - Chimaev would also be a solid contenders match if Usman wanted an easier fight next or wants to take a long time...
IMO, 170 is where he's always belonged. But he should start out there by fighting guys who are ranked in the 30s or 40s. But they'll likely put him in vs top-15 guys and he'll lose.
