My only wish is that Twohy has learned enough from the previous films to finally regain his Pitch Black form and give Riddick the (likely) sendoff the character deserves.
I think they can work on her characterization. And hopefully her overpoweredness, if that's a word? Or at least have an antagonist in her league.
What's unfortunate about the sequel is that it won't be a period film. Young happy Fury was a trip.

The fact that romance and interpersonal conflict was basically the only thing that could throw a monkey wrench in the Professor's meticulous plans was a major theme of the show. I didn't consider it tacked on (overdone and not perfectly executed, maybe)

I think Bellator will probably be fine. I have seen numerous quality scripted shows get cancelled from Spike/Paramount Network due to budget yet Bellator is still trucking along after years.
They must be making some money at least.
