He's had 2 actual fights in the UFC. Contender series doesn't count. He needs 2-3 more fights before they throw him in the deep end.
Also, he doesn't seem to be in any hurry.
As others have pointed out it depends on if you count replays on on the internet:
Conor's probably most viewed fight video could be that video of him practicing the punch prior to the Aldo knockout + the actual fight. As it has been repeated on probably every podcast/social media video slightly...
No fighter should be allowed to say anything that might be perceived as negative about Leon.
Slick move Leon haters.
Boring fighter - check
Not allowed to say anything negative about him - check
PPV numbers soon approaching zero - check
I've never seen any actual statistics on this so its mostly speculation.
A lot of pro level/Olympic athletes don't have an outlet or aren't going to make it in their chosen sport & are going to look at transitioning to other professional sports.
We know there have been several pro...
The possible career opportunities for a large athletic person in professional sports is really good. If you are small & athletic not so much. I suspect this leads to more competition at heavy weight compared to flyweight, but not still not as much as lightweight to middle weight.
Old conversation.
Most males are light weight to middle weight sized when their bodyfat isn't couch potato like. There just isn't as much competition at the highest & lowest extremes of the UFC weight classes.
Maybe I am wrong but just from an injury perspective, it would seem like that an MMA fight has the most potential to re-injure his knee.
I don't see why he would want to touch another MMA fight. Boxing only = no chance of getting oblique kicked in that leg, no possible attempts at leg locks, etc...
I definitely wasn't hyped up for this fight or the one before it. The whole event should have been scrapped after losing the main event & the co main event.
This was destined to be a mess.
