tbh I was surprised he was able to maintain domiance into his 30s with his style. But he had an extentive amateur run, turned pro relatively late. When you go with that style, you better cut down your amateur fights to 150-200 fights.
We'll see in his next fights. I doubt that we'll see Golovkin the way he used to be again.
He started to neglect his defense a long time ago. At this point he can't get away with it anymore.
The guy is 35, by the time the Canelo/Eubank fights happen he'll be 36 ...do you guys really have so...
let's not forget that he looked lackluster vs. Kell Brook.
Jacobs is a good boxer, but it looks like Golovkin is slightly past his prime.
I'm not interested in Golovkin vs. Canelo/Eubank at this point.
anyone interested to chime in here?

look at Golovkins opponents ...Macklin, Murray, Lemieux, Geale, ... none of them had the ability of Pirog.
Switching is definitely an overlooked aspect throughout history.
Ali never did it, maybe it would've helped him vs. an awkward opponent like Norton.
But I guess it's too risky, too much money on the line, and Hagler fell flat on his nose when he did it vs. Leonard.
I was just thinking about it. It would be somewhat embarassing if "TBE" can't finish a cross athlete.
There's no heavyweight in MMA that could go the distance with Joshua, Klitschko or Wilder. And none of them are "TBE" even at their weight class.
Ali's most likely wins this fight. With his mobility, it's unlikely that Evander gets him on the hook. I don't think he could get prime Larry Holmes on the hook either.
But Evander is easily top 10 ...Ali enjoyed a significant size advantage on a big portion of his opposition in the 60s...
Unlikely, Frazier hit harder even that most heavyweights today. And we know he could beat most of them ...someone who can beat Ali, can most likely beat Tony Bellew.
The Foreman argument is hilarious. Body punches are useless vs. Ali because he didn't get knocked out by George Foreman? lol
If Frazier only had known that, he wouldn't have wasted so much energy on working Ali's body and focused solely on his head.
Good point. Marciano would come from low.
Chuvalo got inside on Ali and roughed him up, even though losing almost all rounds. I would argue that Marciano was better than Chuvalo.
I'd pick Ali to win, but it's more competitive than people assume.
That probably just seems like that because he presents himself overconfident and invincible pre-fight.
Mike Tyson was pretty sportsmanlike after his losses to Douglas and Holyfield, and unlike Haye, he was looked at invincible by EVERYONE, not just himself.
Tbh, it was weird when he said that...
Conor is quite an intelligent fella. I assume meanwhile common sense has set in and he realized has has no chance in hell in a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
