The state of Kickboxing and Muay Thai. Crossing over.

Try to watch a Muay Thai fight with someone not aware of the sport rules. It's not cool, they will 100% complain and say it's shitty, that's the problem. Kickboxing is simple, practical and understandable for the newbie, the problem in KB is that there is very little exposion to the public...

Which great pro Boxer has/had the best style for a easy transition to KB rules ?

Certainly is not Mayweather, he would get fucked up pretty ugly. Not Tyson. Not Toney or Hopkins. Terrible styles for a KB match. The Klit bros maybe ? I think Lewis could do it well too. Basically a big guy with a long reach and jab could work something out.

    Belts in kickboxing?

It's created by people that were born during the Karate Kid era and believe there is a 'charm' in wearing a belt, it's a ego thing "hey dude, I'm a black belt you know"

Glory 21 : San Diego (SFS + SPIKE BROADCATS) 11/10c LIVE DISCUSSION

It was close, and it would be a wrong decision had it been given to Levin, but since it was a draw, hmm I can't call it awful tbh.

Glory 20 Dubai [the official thread]

They are rushing things up going to places like Dubai without being a real strong brand in the fighting world in the first place (I know some will dispute this, but let's face it, outside of us, Glory is not followed by that many fans yet).

The State of Muay Thai with Samart Payakaroon (Subtitled)

Well, from what I heard there are not real fans of Muay Thai in Thailand, the only ones who watch the sport are gamblers and the people involved in the game (oh and us, foreign fans).

Which one has the biggest talent pool: Muay Thai or Kickboxing

Self-explanatory title. In one you have a big talent pool in one country but not much outside of there. In the other you dont really have a real big talent pool in a country but it's more varied around the world, especially western world. thoughts
