I was shocked when I saw him bombing out on bench but actually he opened only 2.5Kg lighter on raw nats. It was probably a bad day for him.
As a long time fan I was very happy with Candito's performance. I was expecting a bit more on squats but he just smoked his thirds on bench and deadlift...
Half way point update:
Finished a cycle of TSA 9 weeks last week.
Current BW: 77 Kg (dropping weight at the moment)
Squat: 160Kg x 2 reps
Bench: 100 Kg x 1 rep
Deadlift: Failed 200 Kg and hit 185 Kg x 2 right after (I have done it for 3 before) but I shouldn't have tested my deadlift that day...
Current stats:
BW: 78 Kg
Squat: 142,5 Kg x 5 (155 1RM)
Bench: 80 Kg x 9 (100 Kg 1RM)
Deadlift: 170 x 5 (180 Kg 1RM)
OHP: 57,5Kg x 6 (65 Kg 1RM)
Goal:
75 Kg (feeling a bit too chunky right now)
Squat: 165-170 Kg 1RM
Bench: 105 - 110 Kg 1RM
Deadlift: 200 - 210 Kg 1RM
OHP: 70 - 75 Kg

That's a great question!
I just think about my happy place where I have my own home gym and can train alone.
Some days it's hard but I have gotten better at it over time.
I know it's late but here is the 180Kg Deadlift which was my goal at the start if the competition.
This is from 1st of March so 2 months late.

This is actually the second single at 180Kg of that day as I didn't record the first. I did fail 190...
Tried to give it a go last saturday after squats and got 170 KG.
180Kg was a no go.
I only filmed the 180kg attempt so i only filmed my failure...
I might try again today if I am feeling good during the warm ups.
Will update with feedback later.
I will try to filme a 170 attempt today so...
Currently starting the second cycle of GZCL UHF 5 week program.
160 Kg went up with 1 or 2 reps left in the tank last week.I think I will manage 180Kg this year before the end of the competition. :)
Everyone has a spot on the podium, like those kids competitions where even the last gets a medal.
I haven't collected one of those in a few years so i am totally fine with that!
Just pulled 150 kg, 3 kilos lighter than when i pulled 140. I recorded it with my phone but it was blurry as hell. I attempted 154 after and missed. I will try to pull 150 again and see if this time my phone doesnt screw me.
Will post the videos later today.
These Adidas Havoc look legit!! I think I would rather buy them instead of the chuck taylor's.
I am also considering buying a ohio power bar from rogue, a few steel plates and building my own deadlift platform. The end goal is to build an home gym anyway so I have to start at some point.
Any...
Plates seem to be around 400 to 410, but I measured them by eye using my arm as a point of
reference. I found them online but the brand site didn't list their size. I really need a solution for this because deadlifts are hard when down always on a deficit. I will see what I can do with mats. But...
Ok then this is my best of 140Kg
Plates are on the small side so this is from a 1 to 2 in deficit.
Any input on form would be appreciated as I struggle with deadlifts (squat is catching up real fast)
Sounds fun. Should we calculate from where we are now or use a weight we have actually lifted for 1 rep?
My best set is 125 Kg for 8 and my best rep was 140Kg for 1 a few weeks ago. Which should I use?
Portugal (GMT) here
I usually watch the events live. I am not used to going to bed early on Saturday nights so it's not a big issue for me. I have missed a few cards by getting home too late from a night out ( PPV usually end around 6:30/7 am), i have never missed one for falling asleep.
I was expecting Cruz wrestle a lot more during the fight.
I thought the game plan would be to knee tap him everytime Cody committed to something but he just never did. Also Cody was a lot more patient then i was expecting
