Very stupid idea, what is the motivation here? Do you think being on TRT will reignite your love for bjj? Or do you think it will make you better/substitute mat time/fill gaps in your technique? You're a hobbyist, don't play with your health like that, it's not worth it, there's always a price...
My former teacher is a super legit multiple world champion , he's a bit older now and used to train with Rickson in the so called "Gracie Garage " around '88 or so , he says that Rickson is an absolute God and things he used to do in training are mind boggling
Just show up 50 minutes after starting time, jump straight in fresh and obliterate your opponents, who at at that had already have rolled for nearly an hour
North South is a killer position if you know how to use it , you can pull off a lot of kimuras/armbars from there of you know how to use , also I find it's the best way to control bigger people with not much risk and minimal energy expenditure . I usually use the variation of it , I'm not in the...
Never been a fan of Bisping but I respect what he achieved in the sport , whether through skill, luck , resilience or fortunate coincidence . Can't take away his warrior spirit and he sacrificed a lot to get where he got to , not everyone would be prepared to do that.
He might be an A-level athlete in terms of pure athletic ability but that alone doesn't win you fights , fighting is a very specific sport in which broadly understood atlethecism definitely helps but ultimately is not a deciding factor
I like Chandler and admire his commitment to his wife and his boys , that's a measure of the real man to me, fighting is just a bonus... However some of the stuff he comes up with on IG is just cringe overload , I can see how it might appeal to the Muricans as they're more connected with their...
I think you're obsessing over something that's mostly in your head, anyone who trains bjj for any longer period knows that rolling isn't the only criteria that should judge someone on, I've always been quite strong and have been studying leg locks extensively for years, I tapped many good...
This thread is so stupid, I thought that general consensus was that UFC exploits fighters and the majority of people support fighters that stand up to that ? Yet a quick read here and you'd believe half of the posters work for Dana, you all shilling for UFC hard
Exactly , that's why it should be instilled in them from the beginning by the instructor, it has a lot of benefits both in terms of injury prevention as well as opening up/expanding the game
IMO the traditional warm up should be scrapped as it is a bunch nonsensical movements that you don't replicate in the actual practice (like star jumps etc) and thr class should start with flow rolling (which is a skill in itself)
