For our wedding anniversary, my wife and I visited nearby National Parks. So many in and near by Utah that it's wonderful. I would have to say two of my favorite trips were up to Yellowstone and down to Capitol Reef. Both were beautiful and amazing, but two different experiences.
Yellowstone...
I just have 2.0 without the DLC currently, but I am working towards a stealth pistol/hacker build but low level. So far I avoid the traceable bull by only using the covert/control quickhacks. I need the skills and cyberdeck that up the untraceability. Think that’s the only way to help with being...
Do you enjoy Diablo type games? If you do and enjoy Warhammer 40k then it’s fun. I have fun with those types of games and the gritty WH40k setting is fun to me, but if you don’t like that then pass on the game.
I can’t seem to focus on a game for too long right now. I got games going in...
That’s pretty sweet, may need to see about getting that. On the Star Trek front, I picked up a copy of the book The Making of Star Trek.
My wife and I just started watching TOS, and this book has some cool behind the scenes info and stories.
My friend has been trying me to play Dark Souls 1, so he bought me the remaster with the Steam sale. Awesome dude, and a fun game so far. The pace is so different than DS3, BB and Elden Ring. Much more my speed really.
Grabbed Gamepass on PC to try out Starfield. My PC can run it, but not well. Saw Vampire Survivors on there so figured I’d try it out. Late to the game but it’s fun. Got 30 seconds away from victory! Was level 110 and besmirching screens full of enemies but got overwhelmed.
Just this year, was dealing with some issues on my truck. Found out I had a massive cancerous tumor that needed to be removed, even with insurance it was $5,000. While dealing with the cancer, our husky got sick and was dying. A terrible time, and the bills in the mail just kept coming.
The Discworld books are as such fun, love Terry Pratchett. You recommended 2 of my favorite “series” of his Death and the Guards. I reread the Guards books every year. Whenever I need a fun read that’ll give me some laughs and lighten my mood I’ll grab a random Discworld novel.
I think anyone...
My favorite old school tech is my DE razor. The actual razor itself is rock solid and will probably outlast me. The other old school item I love and use almost daily is my fountain pen. Just prefer the smoothness and multitude of ink colors.
The one piece of old tech I would to get a hold of is...
My journey has ended and the Age of Stars has begun. Kind of an odd ending. Not a fan of the last boss fight, the Elden Beast. Had to switch to the colossal sword from that manga or whatever and smash. Now I will wait for the DLC.
This game has entered into my favorite games category. I almost...
So my saga of Elden Ring is closing in. I do appreciate that From Soft allowed us chances to level the playing field with ashes. I was just able to eke out a victory on Malenia thanks to my mimic tear and blasphemous blade. I almost regret having to kill her, why can’t she be my maiden!?
I...
Just picked this back up from last year and first thing I run into is a damn Rune Bear! Just minding my own business picking flowers. Made me laugh because I saw your comment this week.
I have 90hrs in this game, just took down Godfrey’s golden shade and Morgott. Needed a guide to get to them...
I get it, I’m kind of the same way. I don’t have kids though, and also at 41 I’m in the best shape of my life. Granted I don’t always feel that way due to all the aches and pain. I don’t feel the energy and vitality draining, but my memory and cognitive abilities are fading. That’s what has me...
I go to one a few times a year for the used bookstore. It’s got a few other neat stores and seems relatively busy. Another mall we go to that we call the Ted Bundy mall, because he tried to grab a girl there, also has some neat stores. It is also busier than malls used to be and a nightmare...
My condolences Pete. I always loved reading your stories about y’all’s adventures. She will always be a good girl. Never easy losing a dog, they are family with unconditional love for us and that greatness makes the pain so much more. She had a good life, a loving owner and y’all shared so much...
Moved from Louisiana to Utah for my wife’s career. So money definitely. Moved from Louisiana to Connecticut for a bit because of a girl.
Honestly, moving away from Louisiana for any reason.
I have a bone spear necro and yeah, it’s powerful. My gear is just starting to get okay and as a level 64 I breezed through the capstone dungeon to unlock WT4. The final boss went down in seconds with no special prep just my normal routine. Hope they don’t nerf it though, just buff everyone else.
